Terrible reception greeting. Dirty floors, loud music and a waitress with minimal hygiene! The food quality was alright, but sorry we won’t be back, and we wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking to eat out on your special night.

We cannot wait to return to Kababi Cafe after the COVID-19 virus stay at home order has been lifted. We went during the pandemic and the restaurant offers to go orders. Kababi Cafe is a very good Persian cuisine restaurant. We ordered a to go...order because of the stay at home order. First, we ordered a Shirazi Salad. Additionally, for our entree we ordered chicken kebab and beef kebab. The Shirazi salad is very refreshing and filled with subtle spices. The ingredients that I noticed in the salad are: tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mint, lemon, lime, and olive oil. It is similar to a Mediterranean salad. The cucumbers add a freshness to the salad. The red onions add a zing. The mint gives the salad a taste of coolness. The lemon and lime adds a citrus flavor. There probably are other spices and herbs especially Persian ingredients. The kebobs come with a multi yellow color basmati rice served in the middle of the plate surrounded by the two beef kebobs. The chicken kebob is served next to the tasty basmati rice. There are five large pieces of chicken. A grilled tomato is also served with the kebobs. The beef kebobs tastes similar to the kofta I order at Moroccan restaurants. The beef kebobs have some very flavorful Persian spices. The kebobs are not spicy. Instead the kebobs are very exotic. Kababi Cafe, normally has buffets on certain nights of the week. We definitely will return to Kababi Cafe to have the kebobs and to partake in the buffet. Kababi Cafe is located on the east side of N University Avenue practically across the street from Hooters. Kababi Cafe is in the corner of the American Oak Plaza.More

Restaurant serving Iranian food. Food is ok but nothing extraordinary. They have belly dancers on Saturday. Place a bit outdated. Moderately priced.

Went with my wife January 2020 for dinner. We love Persian food. We have eaten in many Persian restaurants over the years. We ordered a green salad, a stew of chicken in pomagrante sauce and hummus and an eggplant dish. We were served what they...call "bread". It was the worst excuse for either pita or bread we have ever experienced. Thin, very hard, cold and tasteless. The salad had one small tomato and a few thin slices of onion and cucumber on a bed of romaine. The eggplant salad was terrible. Awful taste and consistency. We each took a taste and left it. The hummus was fine. The server was "inexperienced", to be kind. Very unpleasant dinner. To make matters worse, they automatically add 18% tip and then on the bill have a line for an "additional gratuity". That was literally adding insult to injury. We would never recommend this Persian restaurant to anyone!!!More

Chelo Kabab is the top choice. We had Salmon Kabab, Sabzi , Lental soupe, Tahdig Crunchy rice), Tea, from Menu. Their buffet was open, so some of us chose buffet option. There is no bad choice. Most of the menu items are available at buffet....Pastry was puffy, light and testy. Rice was great. Manager was attentive to our needs. I will go back to this place. There is a shop next to it that you can but th ingredients for these meals, should you like to experiment with a new line of food.More

I order often using Uber from them, today I had an issue with my order being incomplete, I called the restaurant and Chelsey saved my day and lunch! She made sure the rest of my order was delivered without charge to my house and sent...me delicious cookies on the house! Now their crispy rice, lamb and dill rice everything you order is delicious! I will keep ordering!More

Told the waitress we wanted to eat a typical Persian meal and her recommendations were superb. Persian hot tea, Combination platter for appetizer, chicken Soltani, Dill rice and chocolate Panach and Persian coffee for dessert. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere very pleasant.

Service was slow but acceptable. The dishes were flavorful and well presented but maybe just a bit overpriced. The decor, walls done as eastern Med. city was interesting.

Every city I visit I make sure to eat at the Persian restaurant. Kababi Cafe is consistently the best one. The quality of the food is excellent and it’s very fresh. The staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend the brunch buffet on the weekends....They also have a belly dancer on Saturday nights. I hope that Kababi Cafe is around for a long time. It’s always a pleasure to spend time there.More
