Excellent food. Dolphins swimming by and very beautiful setting. Service was top notch. I had fresh gulf grouper. I usually don't eat potatoes but these were melt in your mouth. My husband had Mahi Mahi from east coast and he loved. Had homemade Key Lime Pie for dessert👌.

Enjoyed the beautiful view while we had a really nice dinner and a great bottle of wine. Their recommended appetizer was really yummy and we also enjoyed the lobster, calamari and shrimp dish. Wasn't crazy about desert but everything else was great. Would definitely go back. Met some very nice people and had a wonderful time.

Ophelia's has a really nice view, especially if you sit outside. The food is very good, but pricey. Great atmosphere.

Visited for our 14th anniversary. Beautiful place, location, view. Our meals were great. Husband had the lobster dish and I had the filet mignon dish. Both superb. Drinks were also great. Not many choices for folks like me that cannot eat seafood, but at least there were a few things. Valet parking. You're definitely paying for the view. Prices are... More

We ate here over our vacation this past week with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-15). This is not where we would typically take the kids, it is definitely more "fancy" for them. However our server offered several alternatives for the kids to eat, even though the menu specifically said no changes! I tried the grouper with lobster guacamole-... More

What a treat, good food, good drinks and good service, hard to find now days. We started in the bar and they have a mixologist, tried his concoction of Beez Neez along with a grapefruit Negroni and a couple of martini's. My favorite was the Beez Neez. We also had the Calamari and Bruschetta appetizers. Dinner was a mixture of... More

If you see an advertisement for Ophelia's "exceptional waterfront Sunday Brunch with live Jazz" - don't believe it. They've changed management, and now you get a regular menu, overcooked eggs, tater tots, high prices, and "Brown Eyed Girl" on the stereo. Not good.

My wife and I went to Ophelia's for an anniversary dinner. We have lived in Sarasota for 20 years and had only been there once before, many years ago. I can honestly say that after our experience this past weekend, we will be going back more often! The restaurant itself is quiet and comfortable, with a very scenic view overlooking... More

Was looking for a nice outdoor seating restaurant, while I may have found that with a decent view it was far from what I expected. First off, the view, nice, not anything perfect, outdoor seating is about the same, nothing special. Dead when we went, poor atmosphere. Felt underclass when we walked in, being stared at by everyone and I... More

Ophelia's on the Bay is one of Sarasota's premier fine dining waterfront restaurants. Enjoy beautiful vistas of Little Sarasota Bay, from the floor-to-ceiling windows that line the dining room. Or join us for al fresco dining on our open-air patio, as the dolphins and manatee swim by. Winner of many awards both locally and nationally, including an Excellence rating from Zagat as well as being listed as the number one restaurant in America in Power and Motoryacht Magazine for dock and dine. Ophelia's on the Bay has also been voted most romantic, best waterfront and best restaurant with a view by its loyal customers. The menu changes nightly using fresh and seasonal ingredients, fresh fish flown in from all over the world and specialty meats. There is certainly something for every palate! We feature an extensive wine list, specialty martinis, as well as a full bar. Family owned and operated for over 27 years, we have an experienced staff that prides itself on exemplary service.
