The oysters were underwhelming. We should've taken the advice of another review we read about the raw oysters not being fresh...we ordered them anyway and were not impressed. The rest of our food (grouper, crab cake, shrimp) was very good though.

This is your typical tourist outdoor seating casual seafood eatery on the island. A real low key atmosphere, cold beer, lots of people and some good seafood. All in all the food is good, the prices are reasonable and you are right in the thick of things that draw people to this special little key island. A nice place for... More

I do nto eat oysters but I do bring people here who love them & they are happy. Dinners are all good & well prepared. Good music but it is loud on the deck to have a dinner conversation.

I was referred to this restaurant from a friend and it did not disappoint. I had the blackened tuna and it was amazing. The service was great. Will definitely go back.

We went there on our honeymoon, and SKOB was always a "must" on our lists of places to eat, as we vacation at Siesta Key twice a year. Our server was friendly, however, I ordered (as always) their famous fish tacos, which blow me away every time I've had them...and even this visit too. This is what upset me. The... More

We stopped here after hitting the beach and were so glad we did! Had oysters, grouper bites (yum!), tuna - with ice cold Coronas. Wonderful after a day in the hot sun!! Will definitely come back here on our next trip.

The restaurant is known for their good food and walls and ceiling covered with dollar bills!! Lavender mojito was very refreshing. Guacamole egg rolls very good, but overpriced for the amount you get. Shrimp and grits very good along with grilled shrimp, crab cake and fish plate were very good.

Ceviche was excellent and so was the service. They also have good happy hour deals and live music. Cool place

Live music was good, not great, but very acceptable. Not too loud either. Oysters were good, although in a dozen there were 4 that were too small to be considered oysters. Ceviche was good, but the star was the grilled grouper tacos - most excellent!

Love siesta key village with the abundance of restaurants and quaint shops. We stopped at SKOB for a snack. The oysters on the half shell were excellent. Chilled and fresh. Nothing fancy just a cozy bar/ restaurant with good food. Best to go when the snow birds have flown north to avoid long waits.
