Everyone loves this place, mainly because of the outdoor SandBar.. It is very tourist driven. Locals like it but after a few visits, its charm kinda wears off. In season, it is swamped~ there is better options. Over-priced. Lunch is best option.

We went over one afternoon to get out of the sun and still be outside. They had a person playing the guitar and it was so relaxing. We have been there several time now over the years. The food is bar food but good, the service was also good....

We arrived by boat. You can dock either on the beach or in a slip. There was a dockhand to help us tie up in our slip. We sat at a booth outside in the sandbar area...you can also eat inside. The service is good...drinks are cold and food is always great. Nice place to come by boat or car.... More

We ate here several times; it was very HOT and the seating was not the most comfortable. Our server on the first night was terrible-in a hurry and not very personable at all. They do have a nice menu.

We visit Vero Beach often and when we do, we do much of our dining in Sebastian, FL. Captain Hiram's was a place we frequented before. I had a good memory of it from prior visits. I was disappointed this time. Food was just mediocre. The only continued positive was the ability to sit by the waterway and observe fish... More

Captain Hiram's was a nice place. It had a good atmosphere, average food and very overpriced ! For two of us...it was very expensive! The food was good, but not for the price! Wish I could give it 5 stars!

Arrived at Oyster Bay for our timeshare week. Ate a late dinner at Captain Hiram's. Food was good and entertainment was great. Drinks were watered down. Nice time. Later that week we walked over for drinks, appetizers and entertainment. Found a table and sat down outside in the sandy area. Waited about 12 minutes then flagged down a waitress. We... More

Dont waste your time eating here. Food is nothing more than micro wave miracles or lack of. Fish and chips (frozen) were tasteless and the steaks were over cooked (twice) which appeared to nothing more than a micro wave frozen steak. However the fried pickles were great. Setting and service were great! Overpriced and over rated.
