Any of the shrimp offerings are very good at Goombays. From the outside, it looks like a shack and you might pass it up just from the looks. But it is cozy inside and if the weather is good, you can eat on the picnic benches outside and watch the A1A traffic while you enjoy some good food. The Po'boy is... More

We haven't been here since about 2003, and it looks like nothing has been done to the place in maintenance or upgrades since, but I have to tell you.... If you can get past the grungy appearance of everything including the menu condition, stay and try the food. It is excellent! Sandy had the shrimp Teriyaki with the sweet rice... More

Stopped by for lunch. I enjored the "beachy" atmosphere, very relaxed. Got the fish dip for an appetizer and it was fantastic. My wife got the mahi taco and liked it. A menu item called the black bean burger with onion and avocado caught my eye. Even though I had intended to get seafood, I was intrigued by such an... More

We were searching for a place the locals frequent and were advised to go to Goombay's. Parking is limited, we used a business next door. We were there on taco night. My husband had a trio of tacos, chicken, Mahi, and steak. He loved all three. I had fried shrimp and mac and cheese. Highly recommend the shrimp, will not... More

Stopped in based on reviews. Place was empty. Noticed right away some cleaning issues. Tried not to think about them. Ants crawling on the wall. Some big dead bug under the ice machine. Service was ok. Aloof. I had the fried shrimp and it was good. As was the tuna skewer. My husband had the tacos. And like the review... More

Tacos have too much remoulade which tastes like something you'd get from a bottle at Costco. Coconut shrimp dip has consistency and taste like jam. Blackened seasoning is like a hammer. Need a new chef.
