The Pho was amazing with a rich broth. They use beef marrow bones which makes the best stock. This is better than the restaurants in Boston. The fried egg rolls was crisp and full of seafood. The bun salad was delicious as was the seared...ahi tuna. Only wished we found this place earlier on our visit.More
Ate here last week, I love Thai food so thought I would give it a try. It was there about 3pm, I was the only one in there. I ordered the steamed pork rolls they were good. Then had the pho with steak and some...other meat. It was good but the hot steam continues to cook the meat so it wasn’t very tender. I like spicy and wished I would have ordered something else but it was good. Prices are great compared to the prices on Siesta Key.
My server was nice, he disappeared and I had to walk up front to pay and ask for a to go box.
The elderly lady up front wasn’t very pleasant for some reason? Maybe having a bad day? Not sureMore
We had a craving for salad/summer rolls and Pho 101 did not disappoint. The rolls were fresh and included plenty of juicy shrimp. The bun was also very fresh and full of flavour. The service was efficient and accurate. Worthy of a return when travelling...through.More
Owned and operated by a local family. This is always a pleasant experience. Always greeted by an owner with a smile. The server is always smiling and friendly. Every dish we have ever had was hot with fresh ingredients and cooked as described on the...menu. Dishes are priced very reasonably and served in a very clean setting.More
Pho 101 is a very typical classic Vietnamese restaurant. It offered the traditional Vietnamese dishes and we ordered the same. We started with the egg roll. It could have been a little more fresh as I'm sure these are all pre-made and refrigerated. The pho...was very good. It came with the usual sides of bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, basil, and lime. The soup is always what makes the Pho or not. The soup did not disappoint. Great comfort food and a nice change from some of the high price places in downtown Sarasota.More
Ok restaurant the food is just ok. We went on a Saturday night at 7:30pm and there was a long waiting list...wow. So at that point we said the food must be good have to come back and try. We went back Monday night. I...defiantly had better Vietnamese food. The shrimp fresh spring roll had fishy smell like the shrimp is not fresh. The pho was just average nothing to write home about. The stir fried come in a large portion and the flavor is ok. My opinion pho 101 is much better even thou the price is a tad higher.More
