Susan and her family have created an amzing niche business that has been an amazing success. Custom gift packages made fresh daily and some flavors you would never think of. Very cool vintage and hard to find candy selection just rocks! PLease come see this great addition to Sarasota.

I went here to grab salt water taffy as a souvenir for my parents!! I don’t as not expecting all of the flavors they had! Wow!! Worth the stop!

Wanting a treat for the weekend, my family and I stopped on here. Boy, are we glad we did! The back wall of the colorful and cheerful store was covered with a huge variety of popcorn perfection! There were savory, sweet, and signature popcorn flavors to choose from and you could get the popcorn in a variety of bag sizes. The owner, a very kind and helpful woman, let us sample a few different types before we selected three for our weekend snacks! We had a tuxedo sweet blend, a Carmel crunch, and a cheddar cheese. Each one was delish and enjoyed by all! Stop in for a satisfying snack and enjoy supporting a local small business... we are so glad that we did!

I never knew popcorn could be so much fun and delicious! This is so much more than a place to get some flavored popcorn. The variety of flavors that they offer is pretty astounding. I love the fact that they experiment as well. I have purchased several bags as gifts for friends when I visit. It gives me an excuse to taste many more flavors than I could on my own! You can buy small bags for a few dollars up to a large tin.

Susan and her family are delightful, and the popcorn is beyond compare.
Go in, have a few free samples and leave with enough to last you!
If candy is your thing, there's a wide assortment of that too.
Don't miss this place, either location (Siesta Drive or St. Armands Circle)

If ever I was going to sneak my own popcorn into a movie theatre, it would be popcorn from Tropical Shores (right around the corner from Cine Bistro). I've had a lot of flavored popcorn and they all seem to leave a coating in your mouth. Tropical Shores is fresh, flavorful and equally fun picking out my next favorite flavor. Check them out on Siesta Drive. My personal favorite and apparently of their best sellers is the salted caramel popcorn.
This family run business is worth a second visit...and third...and fourth...well, you get the point. Go ahead and put it on your weekly list of places to go...

Chicago style cheddar cheese mixed with the salted Carmel is my favorite. They also have regular Carmel. Every fruit flavor you can dream. The owners are sweethearts-very welcoming and patient. Go in for a free sample and leave with bags of popcorn that will leave you very satisfied. They also have a wide range of candies and make gift baskets. It's a cute brightly decorated shop. This is what I call Chicago popcorn at its finest, in fact I stopped ordering from Chicago now that I have Tropical Shores.

Unique flavors that are out of this world and excellent customer service. The Key Lime Pie was a favorite of mine. Totally open to letting you taste the popcorn and create your own mixes... I ended up with Hot Wings & Classic Salted Caramel and it was AMAZING! Better than Garrett's!

This small little shop is run by a wonderful couple who make the most delicious popcorn of many varieties. There cheese popcorn is to die for. Coming from Chicago and growing up on Garett's I no longer have the craving now that I found Tropical Shores. There SRQ mix is just perfection. I prefer the salty caramel and cheddar. My family loves to go in and try the flavors-once we do we get small bags or all sorts of flavors! Holiday flavors like peppermint, all sorts of fruit flavors, savory or sweet--- you'll love the fresh tasty popcorn! They also make their own fudge and special gift baskets.

If you like popcorn, you will certainly find a couple dozen flavors in this small shop that you will want to keep in your snack stocks at home. Wonderful flavors, fresh every day, and the nicest service you could ask for. Thank you for a perfect local spot to satisfy our popcorn cravings.

I am hooked. Tropical Shores' popcorn is the best tasting I've ever had, both sweet and savory.
My favorite is the Salted Caramel, with Pirate's Gold coming in a close second. Maybe that's because Pirate's Gold is salted caramel with a little bit of cheddar thrown in!
For savory, I bought my husband the Salt & Vinegar as well as a Parmesan Garlic flavor. Both disappeared rather quickly, I must say!
They have a variety of sizes that are very well priced: snack bag is 3 cups, small is 5 cups, medium 10 cups and large is 20 cups. And you can taste samples of it all before making the hard decision of which one to buy!
I have a feeling I'll be talking my mom and sister into visiting this shop frequently.
