Always enjoyable to visit Turtles for a casual dinner on the Bay. Potato encrusted haddock was quite good and key lime pie as well. Service very good.

We go to Turtle's for Sunday brunch by boat from Nokomis. It is one of the best deals in town. The trip there and the food and drinks are great. The brunch menu is quite varied and everything is good. It comes with a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary. Can't beat this treat. After eating we go across the street... More

Bay view, outdoor dining, great bar, nice happy hour deals, great food and service - and we can walk here across the street from our campsite! What more could we want.

While visiting Sarasota we went to Turtles on the recommendation a local, who is a friend of mine. She highly recommended the Sunday Brunch, but sadly we were not there over Sunday, but did stop in for a dinner. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and our service was great. My husband ordered the Prime Rib and requested horseradish sauce.... More

Great casual and affordable Sunday brunch on the bay with choice of a Mimosa or Bloody May just for $9.99, desert extra. Can't go wrong. On my wife's recommendation (was her 3rd time in a month at Turtles brunch) I had the shrimp and crab au gratin and would have it again next time. She knows what I like. Our... More

Very nice setting; you can eat inside or out on the water. We might just need to leave the hurry of the TriState area behind, but although service was friendly and helpful, it would be considered slow in the Northeast. Food was very good. Blackened grouper was excellent. Tuna was served very rare (should have been noted on the menu... More

Things get really rushed between five and six o'clock due to their great early bird dinner specials. They expire at 6 o'clock. But if you're lucky enough to get in you'll probably enjoy a nice meal, fairly priced, and good happy hour drink specials. Try to get an outside table for the best view but even if you're inside you're... More

Baked stuffed shrimp were great especially since they were included in early bird special. Can't beat the price and the lovely view. Get there by 5 pm for a great table and no wait.

If you want a leisurely lunch this is not the place to go. Our entrees arrived whilst we were still eating our appetizers and even then they had both still gone cold. when we objected the waiter seemed to think we were being unreasonable and should just eat both courses together!! sarasota and this whole area has a big problem... We recently visited Turtle's on Midnight Pass Rd with some friends. We did not have reservations but they were able to seat us fairly quickly. The atmosphere is nice and our table was outside with a view of the water. The service was excellent, food was above average and the drinks were good as well. The only downside I see... More
