My husband and myself went with our friends for Easter Dinner. Heidi our waitress was just a delight. Bubbly, smiley and remembered our meals as we made a few changes. She even remembered our waters and a glass of ice for my wine. We all liked the option of the 9 oz. carafe's of wine. That was a plus. She... More

We stumbled across this hidden gem while vacationing in Sarasota. In addiion to the great view of Sarasota Bay, we were treated to a fantastic seafood lunch that was reasonable but extremely tasty. The service was great and we will definitely go back when in town.

It's on the water. Its average. Touristy. Inconsistent. Wouldn't say it's a "must go" place. If your hungry and passing by, not much else at that end of Siesta Key.

We ate outside on the back deck and the view & weather were wonderful. Our service was just right. Menu had lots of good choices and lots of non fish items to choose from. We were all very pleased with our picks. My only complaint was too much dressing on my 1805 salad. Other comments: great onion strings. Best fish... More

Our first day we wanted a simple fast and easy lunch. Our neighbor recommended this place. Burger and fish sandwich were good

Best food on Siesta Key! Drinks are great, our entrees 'chefs trio' of mango chicken, shrimp and ribs was wonderful! Hubbies steak and shrimp was equally good. All hot, tasty, perfectly seasoned, with nice presentations. Server was knowledgable and friendly and very attentive. Comfy seating, nice views! Bit pricy but worth it!

The place is loud and crowded which is fine but the food is average. Better places to go in the area. The service was good. The area where you check in is not good. It's by the stairs the servers have to go up for the kitchen, a woman fell while we were there because someone with a plate of... More

Turtles was good enough that we went twice in a week long vacation. It's conveniently located just across the street from Turtle Beach, and has a short but adequate lunch menu with typical resort area staples (think coconut crusted shrimp). The seafood pasta and grilled mahi mahi were both well prepared. The menu tilts towards the deep fried, and salads... More

The filet was terrible and the grouper dinner was less than par. When we complained to the waiter he sort of cowered and asked if my husband wanted to send it back. Duh.. we had already waited long enough for our dinner so my husband ate only the center of his filet. Then to make matters worse, I mentioned how... More

We went in time for the "Early Bird" menu that ends at 6 pm. So did everyone else! It was busy. We were given a buzzer and only waited about 15 minutes before being seated outside on the upper tier. The view and atmosphere is wonderful outside. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I had the grilled grouper - $13.99.... More
