We had heard about this gem of a restaurant and finally were able to partake. WOW! ...EXCELLENT food and service sums it up quite nicely. Prices are exceedingly reasonable given the quality that rivals even the best formal steakhouses in the city! ...enjoy! Rick &...BarbieMore

Had a New York strip steak and it was perfect. I asked for it seared, and it was done perfectly. Went here for my birthday with family and everyone's dinner was awesome. If you want a good steak that won't put the bank empty, this...is the place. I am not saying it is cheap but it surely isn't as expensive as other restaurants I have been to.More

The burgers we had were excellent and perfectly cooked. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 would be because the onion rings are frozen not fresh cooked. They came out warm/cool and the batter was a bit mushy. We had to wait quite...a while and finally had to search out and flag down our waitress to get our check as she was talking at the bar. Other than that she was very good and friendly.More

We ordered the precooked Thanksgiving Meal and picked everything up on Wednesday. This is the first time I tried a precooked Holiday Meal from a restaurant. I was shocked how great everything turned out. The turkey, both white and dark meat was pre-sliced (optional service)...and super moist. Cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy were perfection and perfectly seasoned! The only item in the meal that was not as great were the almondine green beans. It is hard to recook green beans, so they were not bright green. The seasonings on the beans were great too. My guests and I really enjoyed all the food and PLENTY of leftovers. All I made was a dessert but used my time to decorate this year instead. Thank youMore

Our first visit to the Alpine Butcher shop was a positive experience. Friendly and knowledgeable service with a vast selection of steaks etc. In addition to meat they have seafood, desserts and other accompaniments. We tried the apple strudel and it was excellent. Can’t wait...to fire up the grill and enjoy the steaks!More

Butcher shop scores a 100. The restaurant, service, price and portions however do not. Big city pricing. Turdunken was $29. You get a huge 14" white plate, ONE SLICE of Turdunken, cold, 1 teaspoon of gravy and a bowl of mashed potato (cold) dumped on...the plate in a small dish (to make it look like you were getting something on the plate)! Thats it. No house salad no vegetable and no seasoning on anything. This would not have filled my grandmother up. Elderly waiter didn't shave in two or three days, never even said hello or introduced himself or welcomed us. "What do you want to drink?" The two on staff are basically just delivery servers, not experienced wait staff. Never checked back with us, NOT ONCE. Had to call another server over to get some ice-teafor us and then tell her the table next to us has been trying to get their attention. Both wait staff eating at the beverage station when we needed them! We were very excited to drive down there and it turned out to be a complete disappointment other than the butcher shop.More

Had not been here for about two years, my Wife and I felt like a brisker sandwich. Seated immediately dining room was quiet. Server appeared and we discussed the menu, we were told their had been a remodeling last year and the brisket was dropped...from the menu. Disappointed. We had second options but we both missed the brisket. We would return but not sure for what.More

From our 2017 stop: Another Triple D winner!! Turduckin is bizarre and delicious at the same time....the Homemade Chips were awesome as was the Dessert Truffles...the Mrs had the New York Strip and it was excellent as well. The staff was outstanding...we had a great...time. From my 2020 stop: Hadn't been back in a few trips so I stopped in for another visit to this TripleD great for a bite to eat. Grabbed a Turducken Sandwich on this trip as I'd had the big Turducken Meal on the last visit. It was amazing....these folks know how to do it!! Waitress was very nice...Great folks all around! 2021: Stopped by with the Mrs and I ordered the Turducken Dinner once again...just as good as I remembered! One of my favorite scenes from TripleD over the years was Guy Fieri's expression when he saw the deboning process on the turkey...😆😆😆More

Have been coming to the Alpine for well over a year now. My husband and I enjoy this place every time we come. Great food and wonderful staff. The steak is to die for right along with their twice bake potatoes. Also a little secret...they make fresh these small loaves of rye bread, do yourself a favor and order you won’t be disappointed!!More

This is by far the best steak I have ever had. It was a 24oz. Ribeye, charred cooked to medium rare. It was perfect. It was my birthday and the staff and everyone else was superb. This is a keeper in anyone's restaurant artillery. The...waitress was awesome and was there at our beckon and call. This is my pick for best steak in Florida. All meats are in their deli display for you to view or pick your special one.More

This place is the real thing! You can tell from the minute you walk in that they are serious about meat! And this translates into a fantastic meal! Prices are reasonable. If your not from Sarasota and you heard about Alpine you might expect something completely different than reality, first, the interior screams dinner. The ceilings are high gloss chrome with exposed air ducts all of which look polished. When you walk through the door your...greeted by a hostess but a quick left turn places you at the meat market where you can buy some pretty amazing cuts of beef, pork and various sausages. The food is very good but leave your champagne and caviar b.s in your trunk because your not gonna get a 5 star atmosphere full of make believe over priced strokes to make you feel like a star, nope! You get great food on an old table or booth, that's it. If beer is your thing I'm gonna say you won't be disappointed, the alpine has a great selection of domestic, import and craft. Dress is super casual just no mailman shorts with brown socks and sandals.More

If you want to impress your tastebuds and don't need a formal setting this is the place. There is not an ounce of pretense, it's like dining with family, and that means true value. It's neat and clean, they take Covid-19 precautions, the service is...efficient, personable, and friendly. The real showstopper is the beef! They take pride in the the beef they serve and have several cuts and sizes. It's also a butcher so you can order to take home. I had the 14 ounce Delmonico cut, (rib eye). Cooked exactly to my order, tender, and to my taste; I didn't even add salt. It came with a baked potato and I could taste the quality. The wife ordered the Wienerschnitzel with red cabbage. It made her happy and reminded her of her German Grandma. I want to go back for lunch! They have burgers, French Dip sandwiches, and a lot more. They are also well known for turducken and serve it year round. Guy Fieri liked this restaurant so much he went twice, once for turducken and once for sausage.More
