Cafe au lait, salads, sandwiches, pastries....EVERYTHING is wonderful. Such a sweet little restaurant. I've read many reviews about staff being rude but we've been many times and they are always wonderful and so french. If you're pleasant so are they! The menu is extensive which surely makes it hard to choose but we have never had anything we didn't entirely... More

I don't get here often enough! Sadly, I usually try to avoid downtown because of traffic and parking hassles. However, July is a great time to go downtown and park convenient to everything. They have a lovely outside seating area which is popular the rest of the year. Little too hot for us today. The food is all good. I... More

Consistently good food with French breads and pastries. Perfect place for breakfast on Saturdays after walking through the Sarasota Market. Good coffee!

The American breakfast tasted great. The coffee was strong and smooth and I would come here just for it. Decor reminded me of Paris.

They will not accept credit cards they woukd not allow us pay with a credit card for take out pastry. The woman was extremely rude and got more rude when I asked her nicely to accept payment. We have been to this place evey weekend and the attitude has amplified recently. She said she would rather lose the sale then... More

This little French bakery and resturant was so wonderful! The food was amazing and the service fantastic, it was very authentically French and such an enjoyable place. I would go again and again! I loved that the servers WERE FRENCH! It really added to the experince.

We are locals and despite the first unpleasant experience we still went there a second time because of what we liked eating. Little did we know that their servers are perpetually crude, cold and we have never felt more unwelcome.

I discovered this little gem 3 years ago and make a point of visiting every time we are in Sarasota. The proprietors are a lovely French couple who never disappoint! This is casual dining at its best. Everything is delicious. We have tried a few different crepes with buckwheat instead of flour. I am pleasantly surprised every time. The side... More

This is lively french cafe with street-side tables and indoor dining. We just called in for a coffee but we noticed that the breakfasts looked awesome - wish we hadn't already eaten! A lot of people were eating pastries which looked great. You can also get pastries and other stuff to go. Staff were ok - but not over-friendly.
