One of my favorites in Sarasota. Especially in the down town area. Easy parking, fresh fresh pastries and a quaint little cafe. Please try the chocolate croissant, the best!

My husband and I met the owner of this bakery and café a few nights earlier at his restaurant located on 5th Street (Lolita Tartine). When we told him we were going to the Sarasota Market on Saturday, he told us of C’est La Vie, located on Lemon and Main. We decided to start our day by visiting the café... More

We visited the new establishment at Cooper Creek twice now, and we do have well developed taste buds. You can tell this place is run by folks who just love to craft tasty food and keep it as French and natural as possible. Their pastry is the best pastry I have eaten in my 15 years in the US....it tastes... More

Hoping to sit and relax over a delicious French breakfast or lunch, this is the place. Everything they make, they make with care. They have a large selection of items so you can choose sweet or savory. Their pain au chocolat is amazing. I highly recommend, especially if it is a nice enough day to enjoy their outdoor seating. Moderately... More

Stop here for delicious pastries but by all means have a croissant. They are the most flaky, buttery and tasty ever! The pastries are pricey but also delicious along with any of the crusty breads.

Craving a typical French breakfast or lunch on main street? Then Cest la Vie might be what you're looking for. The menu offers a lot of choices, going from croissants to crêpes to salads and much more, but it's not cheap. It's probably not the kind of place I would visit on a frequent base but if you're looking to... More

Great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Excellent croissants and pastries. French attitude to add to the flair. Lunch is also very good there with quiche, salad, sandwiches. This is always a stop over enroute to the Saturday farmers market. Great way to start the day with their excellent coffee and pastries.

We've been here once before for breakfast and we enjoyed this place very much. This time we came back for lunch and it was amazing. Pannini with brie cheese and pears was unforgettable! Cute little place and the bakery has such a good pastries and breads. Always place for me too return when I want to feel French 😉🗼

This is a transplant of poor French service into Sarasota. The type of French service that unfortunately is still all too prevalent in France. I would have hoped to have avoided it in the USA. The owners appear to be French so have not made the transition. I believe this will be to their detriment in a short duration of... More
