I love to go to the Columbia whether its a night out or a casual dinner. The food is awesome. I always get the 1905 salad and sometimes pair it with the black beans and rice or 1/2 cuban.

This is a bustling, noisy place with lots of character. We got lucky getting a table without reservations, but now that I know better, I would suggest making them. I didn't think the curbside tables looked appealing because of traffic and people passing by so closely, so I would request "inside" which is still open air. They make wonderful Sangria... More

Every trip to this part of Florida has to include lunch at the Columbia. The restaurant is lively, open, airy with great food and service. Max our waiter could not have been nicer. We were in town with friends who kept joining our table when they saw us having lunch and Max rolled right with it welcoming them to join... More

Not the first time we go there! That Sunday, not sure if because they were busy, but the sangria was the worst I have ever had, besides the fact that I had ordered a white one and the server brought me a red one. My mother-in-law made the remark of being the worst meal ever with the chicken and rice.... More

My husband and I had a great lunch at Columbia restaurant on Saturday. We ordered a Cuban sandwich with a cup of Cuban black bean soup (with onions) and a full size Columbia's original 1905 salad (very large) and shared the two orders. Great Cuban bread is brought while you are waiting for your order. All of our food was... More

The Columbia has been around through many generations as a family run restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and fun wether you prefer inside dining or outside. We started with a generous portion of stone crab appetizer. The bread was amazing. Hot and fresh. The grouper was delicious and the yellow rice, which I wasn't sure I wanted for my side... More

THis Spanish family restaurant has been in business for over 100 years! the appetizers wine and desserts was very good....the only downside was sitting outside by the curb in doggy row---it was quite noisy with the trucks going by...

Went to this restaurant after an afternoon visiting the beaches. Staff could be a little bit more friendly. I cannot understand why we are not allowed to choose a table and have to sit where the staff wants us to seat.... Anyway, food was ok. I asked paella valenciana. Rice ok but too much chicken... The house salad was good.... More

Description
Family-owned and operated for over 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Relax outdoors on our patio, or inside our Mediterranean-style dining rooms filled with hand-painted tiles and family heirlooms. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.
