First time going to this type of restaurant and it did not disappoint! Great service, food and ambiance.

I know why I haven't been to a Fondue place in twenty years. Way overpriced and too slow.2 1/2 hours for dinner you cook yourself The cost for 4 adults and 2 children with tip $500 which was way overpriced for the meal which was...about $80'of meats and vegetables chopped up This will be my last trip and understand why they are going out of business in many areasMore

Not our first time dining here. And certainly not our last time. We love the whole experience from appetizer all the way through dessert. We want to give a huuuge thank you to Shamar, who was a delight. We will ask for her on our...next visit, which should be very soon. Attention manager...she is a valuable employee. Hope to hear back from you.More

Thanks George! We agree, Shamar is fantastic. We made it a note to make sure to have her as our server for your future visits as well.
Why have a reservations if you are not seated close to the time. Then you for drinks, wait for your ration of a course. Then wait more between courses. Order more drinks to deal with all the waiting and wait forever for those also. Not...worth the price at all. The bathroom was not very clean either. Our waiter had a nice positive attitude bit no one else did. We were first timers so lots of questions. Which were either not answered or was annoyed. Sorry. Also do not go with a group!! 10 people share 3 pots. They say they add more cheese but all our pots were only 1/3 full. We had fun because of group. I would never go back. If I going to spend three hours at dinner, I should get some food and some drinks.More

Sorry to hear about this. Feel free to contact me directly at the store so I can better understand what happened that night. Collin Benyo, GM
Being a Melting Pot lover, I was excited to take family with me to celebrate my hubby's birthday. Hubby and I have been to many different Melting Pot locations between FL and TN and sadly, this location was our worst experience. The actual location and...atmosphere were excellent, however, we were disappointed in the service and the change in menu. When mentioning the options that another location had given to us that seemed more than reasonable, the waitress merely replied that this location is Corporate owned and could not accommodate such requests. However, when looking at pricing, the request was not adding any more of a charge than what was applied in the same package of the al la carte menu. Instead of having a manager explain, she appeared to be inexperienced and offered no other answers than what one would expect from a lesser priced and lower quality establishment. Unfortunately, for our first time family members, they did not see the same Melting Pot that we have known and loved for well over 15 years. Needless to say, we will not return to Sarasota for our one in a kind experience that we cherish at each of our birthdays and anniversaries. Instead, we will travel the extra distance to Orlando where the Management listens and is eager to accommodate reasonable requests.More

We went to The Melting Pot cause it was on our way home. My husband had never had fondue and thought it would be fun to try. Atmosphere is cozy and the waitress was very helpful in navigating what best to try. Both the cheese...fondue which we got first and the entree which we shared was delicious. Even sharing we both came out quite full and satisfied. Will most definitely go back again.More

Thank you so much! We look forward to your return visit with us.
The concept is sweet, but the wait between the courses is NOT worth it to me! Food was average, for the amount you receive, too expensive. Our waitress was fantastic

Waiting is never good. Please feel free to contact me about this experience.
So we finally got to visit the Melting Pot yesterday, and what a fun experience it was! Our Waitress was great and talked us through all the different stages, it was fun, tasty and VERY filling - we went for the four course pick your...own option but really it was way too much meat for us..... cooking it was enjoyable - the kids particularly liked this. It’s quite a pricey experience but different to anything I have ever tried, we loved it!More

Kid's love this place, and who can argue with chocolate fondue? We do Kid's Eat Free on Sundays as well.
Awesome food and experience. Service was great. Would recommend for anyone not in a rush who wants a nice dining experience.

We're glad you enjoyed your experience with us! Thank you for sharing.
