From the checked tablecoths, to the heaping plates served with a smile, you get the feeling that this place is a regular stop for breakfast for many locals, as well as a destination for visitors. The waitress who served us knew just how several of the customers at nearby tables liked their coffee and their eggs! Homemade everything is on... More

I heard this place was always busy, now I know why. Food is always fresh, because it never sits around long. I was seated right away. All the ladies are very sweet here. Service was excellent. Huge menu to satisfy any appetite or craving. Be ready to take some baked goods home with you too!

We are new to the area and had heard about this place. The parking was plentiful, the dining room takes you back a few decades, and the menu is very much comfort food. We had the meat loaf and liver/onions. Sides were excellent. We didn't spring for the famous freshly made pies as the portions for the dinner were huge!!... More

We've been going to Yoder's on and off for a number of years, and it's been consistently reliable on food and service. The fried chicken has a nice tasting, lighter breading than you will find, say, at Publix, and some of the side dishes, like the corn pancakes, are really special. This is a no-frills place with plain decor, but... More

If you want traditional, home cooked food, this is the place to go. We've been here several times, in fact, we basically planned to go to Sarasota today just to get lunch here. Yes, we visited Selby Gardens, but Yoder's was the main attraction. We walked over 6,000 steps at the gardens in preparation for our big meal. If you... More

They never disappoint- Friday dinner of abundant portion of all you can eat fried fish and sides- my coleslaw was sweet and tangy and delightful. The fish wonderfully crunchy and flaky- very light. I opted for their perfectly fried fries. My husband had their famous fried chicken with creamy mashed potatoes and a generous fresh salad with sweet fresh tomatoes.... More

I am always so surprised at how busy Yoder's is, there is always a wait and a line. Parking is a little bit tricky, but because it was around 8pm we found a space pretty easily. If you get a chance to visit their gift shop and farmer's market, definitely check them out. We waited about 30 minutes to eat.... More
