We eat at Yoders EVERY time we're in Sarasota. The best comfort food that are very large in portions. Most dinners could feed 2 people. The pies are large and out of this world delicious. If you're in town stop in. Around 3pm is the best time to go to beat the crowds.

This was a great value for a family of 4. The food was good and our waitress was awesome. Rated a 4 because I had meatloaf and it was ok. My wife had the fried chicken and it was outstanding. We also had apple crumb pie, rhubarb pie, and peanut butter cream pie, they were all fantastic! If you have... More

When there is a line to the door on a Tuesday night, you know they serve good food. We thought it would be a long wait but we were skipped over two groups of 9 and were seated immediately. What we loved: fried chicken like my grandmother used to make so lightly breaded crispy and not greasy, mac n cheese... More

Pies are delicious and after eating here twice in one week we didn't find anything we didn't like. Potato pancakes, corn cakes, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, fried chicken, open faced sandwiches, etc. It was all wonderful. I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything here. Peanut butter pie was so good!

When you drive by you will see people waiting outside, even when we went around 3:30pm on a Saturday. Usually this means good things and in this case, indeed. Yoder's has excellent home made dishes from fried chicken, to meatloaf, salads and everything in between. The portions are large, the service is good, and the homemade pies are amazing! Try... More

This is still one of the best buffets in Sarasota if not the entire state if Florida. The dinner buffet price includes the following: meat choices are generally turkey, fried chicken, fish, shredded or bar-b-que beef or pork, vegetables are peas, corn, beans, carrots etc., noodles, potatoes, salad and desert bar. Drinks are extra. You must ask for the free... More

This is a very unique restaurant with good food and great service. Visited for breakfast and was impressed with their many menu choices. I mean where can you get Turtle pancakes. Biscuits were to die for and service was excellent. We were so impressed we came back for lunch a few days later but the line was out the door... More

I had to be down in Sarasota very early this morning and Yoder's 6:00 a.m. opening worked for me since I was nearby. I titled this review "Feels Like Home" because I grew up in Central Pennsylvania near many Mennonite and Amish Families. My Paternal Grandparents were of the Brethren Faith so this food/atmosphere is comforting. It was a first... More
