Friendly atmosphere, homestyle, affordable meal in abundance. Looking for a fancy place this is not for you! We stumbled upon Yoder’s & glad we did. Tina was wonderful & the food was amazing. Worth the trip!

We met some locals at the beach and asked them to recommend some restaurants. That’s how we heard about Yoder’s. With COVID-19, we weren’t sure if they offered dine in, but they did. Our waitress was young & friendly and gave us great advice about...the menu. Before our meal arrived, she brought some homemade bread with the most amazing Apple Butter spread. The food came quickly and was delicious! Our checked on us often and kept our drinks full. We asked if they sold the Apple Butter and left with a tasty, $6.00 souvenir that will remind us of our satisfying experience. Go to Yoder’s to see if I’m right. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town!More

All right, let's be real. Yoders is Not for skinny vegans. This place will stuff your face with every comfort food doctors tell you to stay away from. I swear I saw Santa eating strawberry pie. The fact is everyone needs a dose of decadent,...fattening food every now and then and if now is your time to indulge go! Please, please don't go if your on a diet. I had the smoked chicken with turkey stuffing and green beans and as I was eating I saw a pilgrim, must be thanksgiving but it's September! Yoders will fill you up and the price is always reasonable. It's a great place to come enjoy and leave before you fall asleep on the table from overeating. The biggest tip I can give you is don't buy 1 piece of pie if your in a group of 3 or more, agree on a whole pie! Way cheaper, by the way the pies are awesome. Go! 5 ⭐️More

First of all, we have been eating out at Yoder's for many years with my family that comes into town. My family does love this place always a must for them! I do not agree with most of the reviews but everyone is entitled to...how each and everyone desires of there taste! Both my husband and I have never been disappointed with there food because of such good home-cooking. Sometimes just wondering what people want but as said to there own thinking. I give Yoders a 5 star because of home cooking and the cleanness of this establishment. Now to the staff always have been accommodating and extremely kind in serving us!More

The Mac n cheese is yummy. Oh and the pecan pie. Meat loaf was just ok. The cake and bread looked really good but I didn’t get a chance to try them

Friends, who frequent Yoder's fairly frequently, as well as several other area Amish Bakeries and Restaurant's told us about Yoder's several years ago. Easily a 70 mile drive, it's NOT one of those "spur of the moment" trips where you Just Go... You need to...carefully Plan your trip to Yoder's so as to "take-in" specials places to visit either on the way to or from Yoder's Restaurant. In our scenario, my wife wanted to make several stops along the way to & from Yoder's, time permitting of course, to visit Orchid Farms or notable shops along the way. Labor Day was the Day I planned for our trip to Yoder's and Sarasota. We arrived a little later in the morning than planned, which kinda made a "Wait time difference." I planned on getting to Yoder's by no later than 11:15 AM...a little early for the "normal" lunch crowd so as not to have to wait outside in 97 degree heat any longer than we had to.. THAT went kaput, when we pulled into the parking lot at 11:30 AM... A Line had already formed outside Yoder's, which I had fervently tried to prevent from happening...Nevertheless, we got in line and were immediately advised, "It would be at least a 40 minute wait." We were #8 in Line. Let me preface, I LOATHE having to WAIT for just about anything...Generally speaking, if I have to WAIT for ANYTHING much more than 20 min. I'M OUTTA THERE! However, Yoder's was our Primary destination so WAIT I WOULD. It was for me torture. My wife NOT-SO-MUCH as she's a pretty tolerant person. Without a lot of fanfare when all was "Said and Done," we were #10 or #11 in line outside. I believe, as several of the folks ahead of us in line was a situation where one or two people were in line "Holding the line" for their Party of 6 or in one case 8 people. The WAIT etched out to 47 grueling minutes. We were cheerfully greeted and taken into the AIR CONDITIONING, which by this time gratefully appreciated as my wife and I are Middle Aged and don't care to tolerate the 97 degree heat any more than we have to. On to the Meal... My wife ordered the Daily Special, Pulled Pork Plate, which was Huge...The pulled pork covered half her 11" plate...easily a lb and a quarter as my wife made two additional meals out of what she took home in a carryout. I ordered their Specialty, 1/2 Fried Chicken, all white meat Their Sides are very good, but their Cole Slaw is probably the best either of us have ever eaten...Really! My Half Chicken was comprised of 2 large breasts and two wings. To top it off we had Chocolate Pie, which was yummy. Without saying we Must give accolades to our extremely attentive and congenial Server, Tina.. Tina was "Johnny on the spot" throughout our meal constantly asking us if we needed anything OR refreshing our beverages. Although the Apple Crumb pie is their Best Seller, when asked, Tina told us without question, She loved their Black Raspberry pies Best. That will be ordered on our next excursion to Sarasota! We'll be back!More

It was good but I wasn’t blown away. The food here is good an plentiful. But for one of the best rated restaurants in the area I expected something amazing and this wasn’t it. The food tasted like Cracker Barrell. While I love Cracker Barrell...I wouldn’t go out of my way to have Cracker BarrellMore

Hi Joanne, Yes, we do sell Shoo Fly pie. You can either enjoy it by the slice, or order one day in advance for a whole pie. Enjoy! Chelsea
