Ratings and reviews

Certificate of Excellence2015 - 2017 Winner

Location and contact

Small batches, real ingredients, and a deft hand... no proof & bake croissants, no muffin mixes, no Sysco cookie dough and no fake whipped cream. It's all from scratch and it's all made on premise. From authentic all-butter hand laminated croissants and perfect carrot cake, to fresh fruit sorbets and candied bacon BLTs on true artisanal bread, the variety, freshness and execution may surprise you at this humble little place.

Jim If your reading this, one day you may be back in business somewhere and I'll be sure to tell people how you never made an effort to reimburse people who were holding gift cards. Thanks JimMore

Jims is the best! A little of the beaten path but not hard to find. This gulf gate eatery produces a variety of baked items but I stop in for the legendary bread and the breakfast sandwiches. You will be hard pressed to find another...More

Jim's Small Batch Bakery is the BEST! My children and I visit Jim's at least once a week and we're always happy with the results. Jim is by far, one the best bakers around. Everything he bakes is delicious. The staff is also extremely kind...More

I have stopped by occasionally for dessert (so no review on food). There are so many good choices. Do you fancy chocolate or lemon or something rich & creamy? Whatever it is I’m sure you can find something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

What a treat. We had three items to share! Kara was charming and helpful. Everything looked great and we wish we could have eaten more. Easy access and parking

My husband read a review of Jim's Small Batch Bakery just after we moved here three years ago. I can swear that his chocolate ganache cake is responsible for at least ten pounds on the man's frame! Jim's muffins are wonderful -- I always like...More

My favorite thing to eat at Jim's Small Batch Bakery is their blueberry muffins. I love their blueberry muffins because they have so many blueberries in them and they are moist. Some blueberry muffins are dry and plain. Not Jim's. ***Be sure to order several...More

I should start by saying my dad and husband eat an obscene amount of Jim’s bread while we vacation for 3 weeks in Siesta Key. Our favorites are the potato chive, rye, and challah with golden raisins. We also equally enjoy his bagels on Saturday’s....More
