For years, the Orange Octopus and its predecessors at 1220 Old Stickney Point Road on Siesta Key have been a must stop for my wife and I after a day on the beach or shopping or anytime we are lusting for ice cream or smoothies. There are a lot of ice cream parlors in Sarasota, as you would expect, but... More

We are staying on Crescent beach, making this an extremely convenient location for us to get ice cream. The ice cream is always delicious and the service is wonderful. Anyone that is staying close should stop in!

I lived here for 4 years before I found this jewel tucked behind Cap't Curts. The crew is so happy, never harried even when there is a line. The salted Carmel is so good, the Kentucky bourbon is to die for and I haven't tried any other flavor a yet but I know they are all awesome. Made on site... More

Probably some of the best icecream I've ever had!!! So many wonderful flavors, you can mix & match, add toppings, EVERYTHING is freshly made. This little ice cream parlor is out of the way of the hustle & bustle of Siesta Key Village, nice & quaint......PERFECT for that bedtime snack with the kids!!!!!

Being from Kentucky we had to try the Kentucky Honey Bourbon flavor ice cream! It was made here and is some of the best that I've ever had...we will definitely return!

This old fashioned, family owned coffee and ice cream shop is located in Captain Curt's Village a few hundred yards south of the Stickney point (south bridge). It is beside the bike and kayak rental shop. They are super friendly and have a gourmet coffee bar, 24 flavors of hand churned, homemade ice cream. It is my favorite local coffee shop! I've never left disappointed.
