best gyro in town

Gyro was stacked with very tasty lamb and fixins .Spouse raved about it. Even the milkshake was exceptional. So glad to have found such a good restaurant near to my work place. Not only do I plan on eating lunch here often but will do takeout for family dinner and I don't have to cook1 Eager to try out the shrimp next.

I was blown away as to how nice the entire setting and interior was. My food was really good; had a lamb gyro for palm Sunday Driven by for years, never stopped before. My mistake!

this place dies not dissapoint, i visetid about 2 years ago and the place was sad ,dirty , and all around bad, but i am so glad i gave them a second chance, ,not sure if they have new onwners or just decided to clean it up, everything about this place is fantastic, help is super friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced tjhis is a fast food place,not a fancy place but

Total lack of customer service orientation

Ordered 2 Gyros and some fries via delivery last Thursday night and they neglected to include our tzatziki sauce which we purposely and specifically ordered on the side so that the sandwiches wouldn't be all wet and soggy when they arrived. A normal request that most Greek places totally understand and comply with on a regular basis. But not these guys, so we were stuck with two dry gyros without tzatziki sauce which cost about 10 bucks each incl. tax. A totally lame and disappointing situation to say the least. Since it was late in the evening, sent them a private message via Facebook that night asking them to please get back to me the following day but that didn't happen. So now, four days later, saw that they received and read the message over the weekend but still no response. Guess they do not value their customers and their concerns which is a darn shame, especially considering the challenges that many smaller restaurants have been encountering over the last couple of years. Therefore, crossing them off my list for not giving a damn about customer service and purposely ignoring their responsibility to acknowledge and attempt to address an ignorant obvious wrong on their part.

COLD FOOD AVAILABLE !!!!

I ordered a Gyros meal & ate it in the restaurant & it was horrible !! I picked it up at the counter & walked it to my table & bye that time they were already cold & then I bit into my gyro & the meat in the Gyro was luke warm. Obviously the food was made up previously. To make matters worse the gyros was DRENCHED In the cucumber sauce & I MEAN DRENCHED. The sauce was not thick at all so the sauce was running down my elbows & it was that BAD They was no catsup available for French fries but the good news was that there was plenty of cayenne pepper sauce for all the Greek food & fish ? Say what ?I am sure a lot of people use the pepper sauce on fish & gyros !!!

Healthy food hard to find and Fast Food Restaurant

I enjoy my Yellow rice with shrimp and my friends the Gyros with the sauce. The restaurant have a great atmosphere and is a very clean place. I would like such a restaurant where I live ( Katy, Texas.)

Choking Hazzard and Subpar Food

Just plain awful shrimp fettuccine with shells mixed in mushy pasta. I literally choked cause I did not see the shells on the shrimp that was mixed into pasta. All the Alfredo sauce leaked in the bag. No seasoning and incredibly bland. Worst tasteless garlic bread I ever ate, made out of bottom of hamburger bun. I was given an onion cheese steak with mostly soggy onions, soggy bell peppers, with a very small portion of meat. Bread was soft and there was a boatload of cheese. With very little meat. Bread was BIG and long, only needed 1/4 of bread cause there was so little meat. The only thing that tasted like it was supposed to, was the French fries, but I had to drive back to get them as they were left out of the order. When I asked for them, I had to wait on a manager who said "I did not charge you for french fries!" She gave them to me without argument, when I responded, "Yes you did." I should have expected missing items because the man before me was missing his okra, and she told him it was in he bag. He had never walked outside. So, she then she told him "it is in the bag" twice without even looking. He had to tell her a couple of times. She inspected his bag and gave him his okra, that was sitting on the counter, just like my fries. Her tone when responding about missing items was sharp, authoritative, and dismissive (like I gave you an answer now it is your turn to leave). Not sure she is aware of how she comes across when she is wrong. She never said "oops, sorry, my bad." She let the man know that he wasn't charged for the fries they had mistakenly put in his bag. I was like - come on lady you can't be serious with that response, he had to wait on you to decide to believe him, but only after you verified he wasn't lying to you. And, he had placed a big order and had to make a couple of trips to the car. Come on lady, were you really going to take the French fries back? Just say "I am so sorry, I dont know where my head is today." Or, "My bad it has been a long day." She did not make me produce a receipt as my receipt fell as I walked in. It was in the computer so she saw it there. She was really nice before I asked for the fries. Then, she was in the back when I returned for the missing fries, maybe she was on break. I had been gone maybe three minutes. She did not seem happy about having to give them to me. I did tip the lady a dollar, as she seriously seemed over worked and under paid. Stress getting to her maybe. This was my second visit and it made one hell of an impression on me. Been in Sarasota seven years, drive past every day for work and going home. Several years ago I had fries oysters, that were a little fishy, and I had not gone back. Summary: relatively low prices (small shrimp but a bunch of noodles / big bread and minimal meat on sandwhich). Place seems clean, and staff is very friendly. Food was very subpar, but somewhat inexpensive. I just did not see value, and I was not expecting amazing food either. It is like a fast food place. The pasta was 10 and the sandwich was 8, fries were 2 bucks. Recommendations: I did this review because I had eaten some of the cheese steak and was going to just let it go as dont go back, but the shells on the shrimp compelled me to just write about the experience. I did not say anything to the staff and want nothing from them. I just would not go back. I would suggest if you are going to eat there, only order whatever the reviewers say is good. That cheesesteak is nothing like the picture. To management, I would suggest removing items from the menu. Because it obviously is a cost containment strategy to cut corners. But, in this case there were too many corners cut to say there is any value in the food items for what you pay. Based on the low quality, I would lean toward saying the food is moderately overpriced. Finally, If you dont have time to take the shrimp shells off, serve them on the side. Dont mix in in the food. If my kid choked to death, I would sue you.

Great but stingy with sauce

1st time visit last week,always been skeptical about this place,finally stopped in,was in a hurry,ordered the fish sandwich,was hoping for grouper,but it wasn't listed...must be a certain special they have once in a while...inside was clean,staff friendly..5.99 for the sandwich...the bread/bun was awesome the fish was ok...i will try something else next time.....no gyros for me though

Fast and tasty

After driving by this place every weekday, I finally stopped in for lunch. I got the 20 shrimp with a side of black beans and yellow rice. Everything was cooked well and 20 shrimp was way too much for me to eat. My boyfriend got the gyro with a salad. The gyro was OK and the salad was just lettuce, a single cherry tomato, and a slice of onion. We got our food very quickly. I would stop in again for a quick bite in the future.

Not Just Gyros

Came for quick, early lunch. Got the gyro combo with lamb ( they also have chicken ). It came with a small soda and choice of side for under 10 bucks. I chose the rice and beans but you can also a salad or fries. If you only want the sandwich it is $6.99. They give you plenty of meat and a large portion of rice. Service was good.

We stopped here after reading some reviews. We thought we were in the wrong area at first as it looked more like a neighborhood with few businesses around. Glad we went in, great food for reasonable prices. Spent about $48 for a family of 4. We had cajun shrimp, chicken tenders, fried okra, hushpuppies, and more. The okra was was perfect as was the shrimp. We preferred scampi over fried but both were good.

Tasty Greek inspired food

Unlike others, we experienced friendly and prompt service. We placed our order at the counter for a traditional gyro combo. It was under $10. My gyro had a wonderful taste, and the meat was plentiful. The pita was fresh, and the sauce was thick and delicious. I chose a salad which had very fresh romaine, grape tomatoes and thinly sliced onions [the way I like them]. What was especially great was the dressing which was a vinaigrette with oregano and feta! My companion just had a milk shake. Thick and under $3.00. The restaurant was very clean, and we had a very enjoyable quick dinner.
