We recently discovered this restaurant in a Facebook group that we belong to. I had seen many excellent reviews and decided that was where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner this year - it was our first meal in a restaurant since COVID...hit. The owner (Heidi) was so friendly, warm and hospitable. We started with the pretzels with beer cheese. My husband had the chicken schnitzel with the mushroom sauce. I had the wiener schnitzel rolled and stuffed with ham and cheese. Even though we didn't order dessert, they brought out a piece of scrumptious apple strudel with a candle. Can't wait to go back.More

The owner of this restaurant comes from Berlin, speaks with a thick German accent and spent the whole night visiting every table to make sure diners felt like honored guests. By the tome we left we felt more like family. The atmosphere is authentic German,...right down to the beer steins and cuckoo clocks! Servers even dress in old fashioned Bavarian clothes. But the food is what really sets this place on a high pedestal. The potato pancakes were absolutely the best I’ve ever eaten. Thin and crispy, served with both apple sauce and sour cream. All three I. My party has schnitzel. One pork, one chicken and one veal. I tried all three and liked them all, but the chicken was my favorite. Each dish comes with two sides. Sides like sauerkraut, spaetzle, dumplings, cucumber salad and pretzels. We tried all of them. They were all good. Don’t come here to eat healthy. Come to fill your belly with delicious food. And don’t forget to save room for the apple strudel.More

Fantastic! The moment we walked in we where struck by all the German decor, it was fun to walk around and look at everything. We were immediately greeted by the owner and she was fun and energetic, full of excitement! The beer is awesome, and...the food even better! I had the schnitzel and asked for a horseradish sauce (off menu) because I had recently had it in Garmish, Germany. They provided it and it took me back to that great town in Germany! Absolutely delicious! My wife had the beef roladen which also was delicious! If you want to experience Germany or if you have already been and would like to experience it again, definitely enjoy this slice of Deutschland!More

I had a craving for German food during the shutdown and visited the Schnitzel Kitchen. I was not going to eat in so I carried out. I ordered 2 wiener schnitzel dinners. The meat was over breaded and flavorless. I love spaetzle, but this stuff...was horrible. It is usually golden yellow and buttery but theirs was white, tasteless and dry. Don't waste your time or money. The restaurant is also dark and depressing.More

3 of my friends and myself went to the Schnitzel kitchen and had one of the best meals of 2020! The owner was immediately at our table and what a delightful way to start the night. She is a doll and bubbling with fun and...happiness. She set the mood! The food was cooked to perfection and a beautiful presentation. We were so full that there was no room for desserts... that looked fabulous by the way. Next time!!! The German decor is so charming, I just fell in love with the place. Thanks Paul and Jerrod for terrific service and insightful suggestions. Sehr gut!!More

We loved this place. From the minute we were greeted by the hostess to the minute we left everything was wonderful. We all had different dinners and were thrilled with the food. Stroganoff superb! Wiener schnitzel wonderful, chicken in a paprika cream sauce and roasted...pork topped with a mound of crispy onions...were delish! We will be back.More

The night air was a bit cool when we went for dinner. I thought, I'd love a nice glass of hot mulled wine to take off the chill. To my surprise they said they had it. What a treat! Portions are generous here. Schnitzel is...excellent. Would highly recommend it. Choice of toppings to go on it. We had sauteed onions. Mashed potatoes were delivered cold but when we told them, the the sweet side, not what I expected but good. The staff, including the owner are very pleasant and cheerful. Attentative without being overbearing. This is truly a walk into Germany. It's not very big so best to reserve or go on either side of the busy dinner hours.More

Fabulous food and great service! We had a reservation and arrived early. They sat us in just a few minutes. Two in our party opted for the sauerbraten, one the rouladen, one the chicken cordon Blau, one just had the potato soup. Appetizers were sausage...bites which were phenomenal and potato pancakes which were just ok. They were deep fried as opposed to pan fried which is what I am used to. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner! My sauerkraut was the best I’ve ever eaten! The cheese spaetzel was great as well. Everyone cleaned their plates, but I was the only one who opted for dessert. I had the plum cake which was absolutely fabulous! A MUST HAVE if you dine here! The waitstaff were fabulous and worked as a team to ensure everyone in the dining room was taken care of. Heidi is great! Homey decor, great staff, great food! You can’t go wrong here!More

There were no children the night we were there and I don't recall a children's menu but if your children are well traveled and enjoy German food , I don't see a problem with taking them to the restaurant.
