The cupcakes are wonderful and so are the custom cakes. We used Cakes by Ron for our wedding and was also so happy.

Well shave my head and call me baldy.... these are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had.... I bought six cupcakes at Ron’s- they were all delicious moist cupcakes. Ron’s specialty is cakes and some of his past work was beautifully displayed in the front of...the store. If his cakes are half as good as his cupcakes then he makes one mean cake too.... The six cupcake flavors I bought were: Boston Cream, Cherry Lime, Chocolate Raspeberry, Salted Carmel, Red Velvet and Orange Pineapple. Not only are the cupcakes delicious but very large. So me and my family cut each one in half and tried them. I only got to taste the Boston Cream, Salted Carmel and the Orange Pineapple, the hogs ate the rest of them. All of us declared these were the best cupcakes we have tasted in a long time. My cousin lives in Ft. Myers, FL but does business in Sarasota where Ron’s is. He said he will make a stop into Ron’s every time he is up there...... they close around 5pm so don’t wait too long in the day,More

Let me just say we dream about Ron’s cupcakes until we return for vacation every year. They are simply amazing and unfortunately no other cupcake I’ve ever had compares. $2 Wednesday’s are great. We use Cakes by Ron for all our events and gifts — the best cupcakes in town with an assortment of innovative flavors —- red velvet, triple chocolate, and more ... the best you can find.

I am a total cake snob. We have tried many bakeries in search of the perfect cupcake. It ends here! Attention to detail, moist cake with just the right amount of frosting. The cupcakes that are filled are plain sinful. Worth every calorie. Ron can...bake! :)More

I don't know why it took us so long to get here? It was my approaching 70th birthday that I wanted something special for and an old friend highly recommended Ron's. HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just make the 2nd weekly visit. These are the most delicious cupcakes(I tell...myself it's lighter than the whole cake-RIGHT) Today we had the Smores-Lemon Cream-Coconut Raspberry-Peanut Butter Crumb. This is where the cake for my sister's wedding came from, so i decided to get my son's graduation cake from there. It came out PERFECT! The cakes looked great and tasted amazing!!! Cakes by Ron are the best cupcakes in the Sarasota area. We go way out of our way to get them for special occasions. Our friend and neighbor does the same for their specialty cakes for birthdays.

My wife and I think the cupcakes at Cakes by Ron are the best in the Sarasota area by far. Our neighbor has also had high praise for the specialty cakes they make for her as well.

Wonderful wedding cake taste testing experience. Ron was very accommodating and pleasant for our group of 5. Sarasotans take-out cupcakes often and enjoy a wide variety of flavors.

We stopped by Cakes by Ron on vacation because my son's 10th birthday happened to fall during our trip. What a pleasant surprise! Not only are Ron's cupcakes beautiful visually, they are also off-the-charts delicious. Easily the best cupcakes I've ever tried. Although our trip...was short, we returned a second time to get even more of those moist, flavorful, decadent treats. I'm (almost) glad Cakes by Ron is a 3-hour plane ride away or else we'd be compelled by our stomachs to visit every day.More
