My husband and I are locals and vegetarian. We wanted to try this restaurant out but we’re nervous about trying it out since we are both skeptical about vegetarian meals that may be super high in fat and calories. We were so pleasantly surprised. I...got the fajitas and my husband got the Silly Philly. DELICIOUS! The portabella mushrooms are marinated in the chef’s own steak sauce. My husband’s sandwich was made with vegan cheese and was really good! Both meals came with the choice of soup, salad or fries. The salad with the citrus dressing was awesome! I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant with very fresh and delicious food for anyone!More

Small place but food is well worth the try. Food is fresh, made to order and cooked perfectly. Service was awesome. The Buffalo cauliflower was the best I’ve ever had.

We stumbled on the restaurant when in the Gateway Ave area. The buffalo cauliflower was outstanding! I also had a portobello volcano and I did not enjoy it. It was too much mix of savory and sweet.( I think it would be better with plain...white potatoes.) I will return and try some other items. The pick up was easy although we had to go in and get the food.More

Salmon was bland😢 First time here and ordered the noodle vegetable entree with salmon. The chef left the skin on and put skin side down right on the entree. After taking my first bite I realized that I’d need to remove the skin, yuck!!! Dish...wasn’t average and I don’t know if I’ll give this place a second change.More

They serve the impossible (plant based) burger. They grill it which is the best way to present it. I love their scallops. They generally offer de caffeinated ice tea, with fruit flavours, a favorite of mine. I especially love both their fish specials and their...salads. My last salad eaten there was a Caesar salad with fresh seared ahi tuna.More

We have been going to Veg for over 10 years and Monday night I had my first sub par dish. I said that I could not eat it and yet it was not removed from my bill. This is a very unassuming place, looks a little bit more like a café but I was surprised at the quality and the presentation of the food. Looking for dairy free and gluten-free food this good? Cute little place. There was only one waitress. She was really nice, but they clearly needed someone to help her. As a vegan, I was thrilled to find a place close to where we were saying that had vegan options and I wasn’t disappointed with...the Impossible Club! The Black Mango Ice Tea was really great too. My friend got a Watermelon Cucumber Sangria and it was really yummy. She also got some fudge to go and when we tried it later, I wish I had bought some. It was AMAZING!!More

I went to Veg for lunch today and ordered shrimp tacos. They were less than ok. The smallish shrimp fall out of the taco.. I like a messy taco, but this was too messy. Worst of all was the shrimp texture. It was dry, chewy...and a lot like cardboard... had to be over cooked too be this dry. The taco dressing/aioli was bitter. I did love the crunch of the cabbage and the the soft corn tortilla. We were so hungry, we ate most of our food despite the cardboard shrimp. I spoke to the waitress twice. Once, about 15 minutes after we had ordered (my daughter was starving and was hoping for a packet of crackers), ... “it’s coming...” was her reply... and then again at the end of the meal where I told her about the shrimp.... her reply asked if we wanted to see a desert menu? I sooo wanted to love this place. Small, cozy, good menu with vegan options. If you put a shrimp taco on your menu, deliver juicy, plump decent sized shrimp, and tasty dressing.More

We enjoyed dinner in this restaurant. It is small, cozy place. As the name implies, it is vegetarian friendly with several choices on the menu. We had the Veg Tower and the Portobello Volcano. Excellent choices. Service was very good. Definitely worth a visit. The...only downside is that the restrooms could use some attention.More

Eating out while staying true to a Ketogenic diet can be a challenge. Not so much at Veg. My husband and I enjoyed the Kale salad although we had Garlic Aoli instead of the staandard offering. We brought friends back for lanch and they loved...it too.More
