Decided to give Clayton's a try for the first time. Loved the atmosphere-very relaxed. Friends ordered pizza which they loved. We had calamari which we really enjoyed. I had the soup of the day which was a chichen tortilla soup. It had a slight kick which I liked. However, the soup had too much salt. I am not a big... More

This was a fun place for dinner with a great variety of meals. The bread and butter before the meal had an interesting twist and was very good. We tried the pizza and it was incredible. Good service, outdoor seating, and good food!

We never seem to get around to coming here after all the times we've visited Siesta Key on vacation, finally did so and wish I had years ago. Nice little place a block or two off of Midnight Pass Rd behind Captain Curt's. Parking around the building. The interior is a neat mix of bar/restaurant with some long high tables... More

Somewhat limited menu so I had a ham & cheddar omelette which was huge, fluffy & loaded with ham and with cheddar inside and out! A but pricey.

Clayton's Siesta Grille is a short hike from the island's Crescent Beach (and a short walk from another Siesta landmark, the Crescent Club -- a dive bar with history), and you can wear your sandals. But the food is a strong cut above any nearby restaurant, with a wide-ranging menu, with an impressive selection of fresh fish and shellfish. They... More

Had a great breakfast during our escape from Hurricane Matthew which pounded Jacksonville. Later returned for take-out pizza as we hunkered down with family on Siesta Key.

We especially loved the vegan entrees and our friends and family enjoyed the grouper and shrimp and other dishes. Great meal and great service. That is chris 'kringle'!

This restaurant has a comfortable casual atmosphere. I had the chowder to start and I liked it. My wife though it had too much cream. Personally I don't think that's possible. I then ordered some fish that came with mashed potatoes Since I am not fond of mashed potatoes they offered to substitute mushroom risotto. The fish was OK, a... More

We got into town late and needed dinner, Clayton's popped up on Open Table so we checked it out and it seemed kid-friendly (as much as can be at 8:30pm) so we booked and headed over. They had a table waiting for us and didn't give us that "why are you bringing your kids in right now" look some places... More

A restaurant has to work well on three fronts; food, service and ambiance. The food was eventually good and the ambiance was ok even though the restaurant is loud, but poor service ruined the night. From a lack of quick service on our drink order, to slow refills of water, to a meal being forgotten/taken by another waiter - the... More
