Sushi rolls are very good, but stay away from the server named Stefan (Stephan?) if you can. He is rude, and condescending. His attitude and behavior made the whole experience disappointing.

We arrived late ( 9:30 pm ) but not so late for Sarasota ?!?! And so we were rushed to ordered fast . We took a little bit of everything ( pas Thai chicken , chicken basil , chicken coco soup , Luca sushi and...2 other roll with sexy sauce . But it was not so tasty . We ve tried to ordered several beer that they have on their menu ( an iPad ) but they were out of most of these !!! I will not come back .More
Service was very good- except I was not offered more water which was fine cause I drank my bfs. I ordered the ginger grouper and scallops, which is almost $40. It was a tiny grouper filet and 3 scallops. Breading comes right off scallops- there...was a tiny sprinkle of sauce they put on. The veggies were basically all onions and 2 broccoli florets with a few carrots slices. I did not want to eat plain rice- because again there was no sauce. The sushi roll my bf ordered was awesome. But the prices are not. Crab Rangoon is expensive for 5 little pieces but they are really tasty. 2 beer, 1 app, 2 entrees came to over $150. And I was left hungry! Party of 8 agreed- food was mediocre and way too expensive. Cheapest wine was $12. Got to Bangkok Thai or Thai spice. Yume for sushi down the street.More
We came here for dinner this evening and completely enjoyed our meal. All interactions with staff were a pleasure, Our waiter's timing for serving, checking on our meal, and bringing us the bill were perfect. Food was very good. Among the three of us, we...had Kang Panang (with shrimp), Shrimp Tempura, and Pad Thai. We will be going back here!More
We arrived right around 2pm for lunch. They have electronic menus and as we were searching the lunch menu it suddenly disappeared. Now a simple tofu or chicken stir fry was $22 since they stopped honoring there lunch menu at 2. We ordered anyway. For...3 basic stir fry’s and 2 vegan sushi rolls the lunch bill was $95 for 3 of us. If the meal was above par it may have been worth it but it was totally sub par. I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner for that matter.More
As others have already acknowledged in other reviews, this cafe/restaurant is an absolute rip off and poor customers service. Firstly, we were ushered to our seats in a darken restaurant and immediately asked what starters we wanted, no real introductions, very poor customer service at...the start, which continued throughout the meal. We ordered our starters and only 2/3 arrived. The chicken satay sticks were dry and spring rolls were tasteless! I found a hair in the food just for good measure. The overall presentation and taste of food is of a low standard. We were asked to order our food quickly as the were expecting a surge of patrons ( not true). We ordered 2 main dishes and pad Thai… omg the portions sizes was not dinner sizes, it was a small amount of chicken/beef filled out with poorly cooked cheap veggies. I was still eating my main and the waitress cane over and started clearing my husband & sons plates, so rude!! Each dish cost approx $20, absolute rip off!! Not worth it. The food was tasteless and presentation poor. The dining experience is not good. I would urge people not to eat here. The staff genuinely do not care. This place just wants people in and out in the shortest amount of time… whilst taking your money. We left feeling shorted changed in every regard! And of course $100 lighter (we had no alcoholic drinks just water)!!More
We made a reservation on Open Table, but the host didn’t get and told us not to use that app because, well, I guess they don’t check it? So call to make your reservation. The food was good, but it took more than an hour...to get our food. The place filled up just as we arrived. It was super busy and the staff was hustling, but we were so hangry by the time dinner arrived.More
Overpriced. We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant. The waitress informed us that we will be dinner menu prices as there wasn’t any lunch menu. So we ordered 2 sushi rolls. They were very small, yet we were charged dinner prices. Not coming back again,...most definitely.More
As soon as we got in, we had our reservation waiting for us. The owner, Oy, introduced herself gently and took care of us. We asked for 2 different Thai soups, one coconut, with chicken and mushrooms, and the other was was tomatoes, mushroom, shrimp...and an amazing clear broth. Entrees we're, a pad Thai with shrimp, generous portion, lots of bean sprouts and spiced the way we ordered. We also ordered s Lady lavender roll, with tuna, avocado, cooked eel. Perfectly done. A place to recommend on main street, surounded by free parking areas and great shops.More
The entre (Green Curry Fried Rice) was is okay although greasy and short on taste. The appetizer soup (vegetable and tofu) was good although nothing special. Everything is priced way too high for what it is, and the service was okay. The wait for food...was almost one hour. Lila's, which is a few doors from this restaurant, is much better.More
There must be a correlation between “The Drunken” and the menu items particularly the lunch menu. Appetizer and Sushi portion sizes here are ridiculously small in size (not in price) and the service is definitely not the type that would make you say “I definitely...will come back here”. A glass of wine will set you back $14 for a “large great looking glass” —find the wine if you can. I gave this place a second chance…but clearly It is what it is. This is clearly an example of hype over substance.More
The food was nice enough, but weirdly expensive ($20 for pad thai to eat by the side of the road?), with a number of hidden surprise costs. My elderly grandmother asked for “an inexpensive glass of white wine” and they charged her $16 — when...the entire mediocre bottle retails for less than $15! The coconut milk that came with the dessert had gone bad so we asked for another tiny ramekin of coconut milk to replace it, which they nicely brought — without telling us they would charge us $2 extra for the additional two tablespoons of coconut milk (which, incidentally, had also gone bad). Overall, the food is decent, but not worth the price, and the extra costs kind of soured the experience.More
Hands down the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. Danielle was also one of the best servers of any restaurant I have been to. Recommend to anyone.
Worst looking and tasting meals ever for our group of 4. Uninspired, overpriced for a bowl of plain rice and the least expensive vegetables available. We all left hungry and angry for having put up with mediocre and expensive crap.
the crispy duck soup with noodles was amazing, we love the rolls with shrimps, the service attention was excellent, and we have the luck to knew the owner, an excellent person, we highly recommend this restaurant
