If you don't go to this restaurant you are making a huge mistake. The eggplant and the sausage paste are incredible. Great wine list (limited) and staff and owners can't do enough for you. The secret tiramisu is worth the calories!!

Worse than mediocre. The eggplant parm is a ridiculously cheesy tasteless mess. Greek salad is more than just lettuce leaves with some feta thrown in for good measure. This place wouldn't last five minutes in New York City.

Went out for an amazing dinner with friends. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and it was probably the best I have ever tasted. For an appetizer we shared the hummus and it had unique, delicious flavors. The best part is the atmosphere. The restaurant is...off the beaten path two streets south of Main in the Towles Court artist colony. Although parking was a bit of a challenge, the surroundings were beautiful with many plants and flowers. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back!More

Haven't been in awhile since COVID-18 keeps us chained to the house, but always had a good meal & nice experience. One of my favorite Sarasota Restaurants

If you wonder what the connection is between the Bodhisattva and Italian/Mediterranean food, it's actually straightforward: the Enlightened One liked that cuisine the best of all. The eggplant parm and sausage dishes my wife and I had were excellent fare, comparable in quality to what...one might find in Boston's North End, or New York's Little Italy. The restaurant is in the Laurel Art section of town. The surroundings are low bungalows. We chose to eat on the porch, where the noise is minimal, and the sea air palpable. The inside of the is Bodhisattva themed with impressive and tasteful statuary. The WC's are immaculate and visually pleasing. (Uh, I can only vouch for the men's room but in my experience the ladies rooms are always nicer anyhow.) Little known fact: the Steely Dan song Bodhisattva was inspired by this restaurant. (OK, I made that last bit up, but it's still worthy of a dedication.)More

Out first, but certainly not our last, visit to Bodhi Tree was outstanding. Excellent food, precisely as described. Two of our group of six didn’t make it because of a sudden illness. Despite a crowded restaurant the staff handled the situation with aplomb—quickly adjusting our...table to suit our needs. We will definitely return.More

Limited menu but everything on it is great. Staff is wonderful. Best Egglplant in Sarasota. Desserts were also very good but don't know if they are all home made or from local bakery. This has become one of our go to restaurants.

All eight of us RAVED about our food--delicious. We missed bread terribly, especially with most of having Italian type food. We paid the $2.00 each for two baskets, and five tiny slivers of crispy bread came on a plate. That turned out to be all...that we could talk about all the way home and not the delicious food.More

I can't say enough about the Bodi Tree in Towles Court. Perfect setting, perfect ambience and perfect food! The food is reasonable and so tasty....such great flavors. It would be a mistake not to save room for the wonderful desserts. I highly recommend the coconut...rum cake and the tiramisu. I felt as though I was dining in someone's home. The hospitality of Carolina and the servers is so great. It is a real gem.More
