The waiter was terrible, didn't seem to speak any english. I asked direct questions about my rolls which he said "yes" to but that turned out to be the wrong answer to all 3 questions. I brought it to his attention... "Yes" again. I gave...up. THEN we get the bill.... $4.00 extra charge he added to add cream cheese to one small roll. Never asked me... just charged $4.00. Then I paid the bill with my CC and gave him a $20.00. I asked for change.... 5 ones, one 5 and a ten. Well he brings me $15.00. I asked where the other $5 was and he said "tip". I was going to give him more but whatever!More

My friend and I were seated at a table but no one came to take our order. I saw 2 other couples seated after us and the waitress came and took their order but ignored us. I asked a waiter if he could get someone...to take our order but no one every came. We sat there 30 minutes and finally walked out. They did not appear to be short-staffed since I saw several waiters and waitresses waiting on tables.More

Absolutely the worst Sushi I have ever had in my life. Mushy and totally lacked flavor. Service was equally as pathetic. We ordered our appetizer and sushi rolls. The rolls came 45 minutes later and the appetizer came 15 minutes after we finished our sushi...rolls. Poor quality service and product. Waste of money and would not recommend to anyone.More

We had Party of 7, seated quickly and server asked and brought waters, why we reviewed drink menu. Great selection, server answered all our stupid questions, which they are probably used to. Godzilla rolls were great along with all Tuna rolls. Shrimp and Chicken Tempura...was great. Atmosphere is modern , clean and well lit. Not too noisy, able to have conversations , amongst us. Server refreshed our sodas and asked if we needed re-fills. Did not get pressured to finish. Cleaned up used plates as we completed eating. Will be back!More

We ordered sushi, craft beers, sake and cocktails. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was perfect. Had reservation so got right to our outside table as requested.

We tried Jpan for the first time by checking out their lunch specials. Service was good, and food was delightfully fresh and flavorful. My wife tried their Shrimp tempura rolls, and she thought they were great. I went with their chicken teriyakiBento Box was both...very good and a ton of food.More

On Monday we didn’t know they were closing for 2 days The broccoli served with teriyaki was OLD Pork dumplings needed flavor Rolls were good. Service was fine

We left a neighboring restaurant as their happy hour was only inside (understandable but not advertised). Even with the busy holiday lights season we were seating outside and enjoyed great service from Young. The website is extremely misleading. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to an evening of Happy Hour, as per the website advertises to get people through the door, and we were immediately disappointed when the bartender told us they are not honoring Happy Hour...due to the simple fact they are losing money on it.. Our bill was 3x as what it should have cost us. Very letdown by management. Bartender seemed like he was in a rush when there was only 1 other couple in the dining area.More

Before JPan moved near the mall it was in downtown Lakewood Ranch-it was cozy, dim mood lighting, nice background music, and excellent service and food. Now the environment is totally less appealing. Loud music, mostly high-top tables, more of a club atmosphere and it took...a long time to get our food. Green tea was served in a cup with a teabag in it-a small pot on the table would have been nice. No reason to go back.More
