Immediately greeted with a snarl, there is no seating, and regulars get preference since it was trivia night. Oh, and it smelled like a dirty baby diaper. Avoid

My Wife wanted a beer with lunch and we were nearby shopping and remembered this place has a large variety. We arrived late (1:30pm), place was quiet, server was friendly and helpful. My Wife says the beer was cold and good, I do not drink...beer so had a cola. Food came and was well prepared and had flavor. No complaints. We will return.More

The fried Cheese Logs were huge and pretty good and a meal in themselves. we took a couple home as we never could have eaten our meal, but have to say they did not hold up when warmed the next day for a snack-so eat...them when you order them. The beer was decent-I had the house IPA which was not overwhelmingly hoppy as sometimes can happen and was decent. I would order it again. The fried portabella mushrooms were very good. I had the BrewCo Burger half pound-not sure I could have handled a full pound one-it was done to order and a pretty good burger-main factor is was it was large and filling too. The fries were amazing and among the best I have ever had. My wife had the Reuben which was very meaty and well prepared-in fact for her almost too much meat-we took some of that home too. One issue was COVID seating or rathr the lack of it. The staff was friendly but maskless and there was virtually NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, which is concerning. Fortunately wew were there early enough in the evening that this was not an issue-but there is no outdoor seating and the tables are pretty close-no distancing at the bar. Assumption of the Risk on that.More

Had a good family meal here and everyone liked their food. Great hamburger, good pizza and chicken parmesan, great fish and chips. Most of the onsite microbrew beers were light, not my favorite category, but the IPA was good and the porter was excellent.

SBC is our go-to place! Service is always great and the beers the brew (oldest brewery in Sarasota) are top notch (love the Siesta Key Porter). You can get flights to try all of them. They have a varied menu (leaning toward Chi-town - go...Cubs) and everything is delicious ... from soups to pizza! They make a deep dish pizza or thin and it truly is one of the best pizzas in town. They always have specials (Salmon BLT is so yummy). There is a nice size back room for a private party, too. As you walk in, there is a really great bar and always friendly people working.More

We are fussy about our pizza. It HAS to have a thin, crusty crust, it has to have tasty tomato sauce and generous ingredients and it has to have extra oregano on it before it is baked. Additionally, it MUST be served bubbly HOT! There...was only one time out of many that this standard was not met, and when we returned it to the kitchen, it was remedied and came out perfect. The restaurant can be noisy during sporting events. Come early.More

Watched Penn State Cotton Bowl with PSU alumni association. Stuck in a back room, no windows. Place smelled like beer (big surprise, it’s a micro brewery!), food was typical bar food. Much better places to drink beer in Sarasota unless you’re looking for “Cheers”, where...everybody knows your name. Yes, your mug can hang from the ceiling too, so join the club if that’s what you’re looking for. Will return for the next PSU football game if I’m in town. WE ARE!More

Our server, Kurt, was very friendly, attentive and efficient. He suggested a few things, including the cheese logs, which were yummy. Husband had a flight of beer and really liked the porter. Chili was delicious, the beer battered fries were great! Husband had the Chicago...combo and says it was very good. Large portions! Bring your appetite! One complaint: ALL the food came at the same time.More

Small neighborhood brewery. Beer is only served in brewery....in no store! Nice lunches and dinners! Friendly staff. Many patrons are regulars bringing in their dogs! Recommend!

We visited the Sarasota Brewing Company as a family lunch. My son and I ordered a flight of their site brewed creations. The samples were good. We are aware that brewpubs brew their beer for quantity and unlike a craft brewery, their brews tend to...be fairly standard. I liked the Midnight Pass Porter the best and ordered a pint later. They offer a full bar, and carry more popular beers as well as craft brands. The food was outstanding however. My wife had the Salmon Burger and it was loaded with crumbled Feta Cheese. My son ordered the Double Brewco Burger, which was absolutely massive. I opted for the Chicago Combo, which was formidable in itself, featuring Italian Beef and Sausage with onion and peppers and hot giardinera salad on the side. The restaurant itself is very inviting and the staff friendly, and prompt. Since it was my son's treat I cannot comment on the total bill, but the sum of the parts was reasonable. Would return againMore

This is supposedly one of the oldest in Florida, this place reeked. Oddly the only place inside that didn't smell like the bathroom was the bathroom. Tension between bar staff and brewer made for an unpleasant mood too. Food order was wrong and only barely...passable. Avoid this place!!!More

Whilst staying in Siesta Key for a week, we cycled to this place to try their beers. It doesn’t look anything special from the outside, but more than made up for that inside. We sat at the bar and got talking to the server Stacey....She was absolutely fantastic, she helped us with ideas on where to visit during our stay and was warm and friendly to everyone. She recommended one of their home made burgers, during the week they do a special deal at lunchtime, I think it was €6 for a cheeseburger. It was fantastic, even my wife enjoyed it and she doesn’t normally go near a burger. It was that good we paid a second visit, really friendly place, Stacey was awesome, remembered it was my birthday and made our visit special. Over the years we’ve been visiting different parts of the States, generally I think that service has declined, this place bucks the trend.More

My group and I had a very bad experience here 6 weeks ago, but the manager contacted me and really worked to keep our business - we are a weekly trivia group. After, we had 3 great weeks, and one even more awful!! Final score:...Food 5, good bar food, interesting beverages brewed here (try the root beer!) Value 5, bar food is not over priced, and specials are very low! Service 0 or 5, depending on which server you get. We have solved the problem by requesting a server by name, so we will be continuing to enjoy this otherwise great place.More
