Not your Daddy’s fish camp! Great food, good service, a hip vibe and some good water (lake views). We had the BBQ Shrimp, hush puppies, fried green tomatoes and Boudin Bites. I’d recommend them all. Our server was helpful, funny and made our dining experience...even more enjoyable. We had visited a year ago and I’m glad we returned.More

Stopped in for a late lunch after hiking 6 miles at Topsail Hill state park. I had the Oyster basket. The oysters were perfectly cooked, great taste, had a crawfish dipping sauce that was super! Hush puppies were excellent! My wife had the Great Big...Salad. It had lettuce, tomatoes, taters, corn, green beans, black eyed peas it was great! All in all a fantastic lunch experience! Oh yeah went out on the dock and fed the turtles after lunch!More

Just a short ways down 30 A. We sat outside. My husband had fried shrimp. He said it was very good. I had fish tacos which I really enjoyed. The fish was mahi mahi and lots of it. It came with a little salad which...was very tasty. Menu was very well priced. Definitely recommendMore

We heard about this restaurant from someone we met at our hotel. It was absolutely delicious! We ordered the mac and cheese boudin bites, and let me tell you, I could live off of this dish! It was something else!! I then ordered the two...course vegetarian meal, which was an order of fried green tomatoes, and then the main course of a cauliflower steak over angel hair pasta. It was amazing!! My husband ordered the fried shrimp... the batter was delish, and the smoked tomato tarter that came with it was SO good! We will be back for sure!!!!More

Got the gumbo, which I like a lot. Called in an order from the bar. Ended up costing me $27.. Due to pickup fee and a service charge. Too bad they jacked in up because the girls were going to order dinner.

We sat at the bar on a Thursday night because they were booked and we didn't want to wait a while for a table. At first we were going to leave because nothing on the menu looked appealing to us. Honestly, I think they just...need better marketing! We ended up first ordering appetizers and were floored at how delicious everything was! The fried green tomato dish is to die for! The oysters were as huge as my hand. And the cauliflower steak was fabulous. Ended up going back again!More

There is indeed something stinky about this place. I placed a take-away order from this restaurant. When I went in to pay, they simply asked if I wanted to pay cash or card. They did not disclose there was a ≈4% fee for using a...credit card. I was also charged an additional $2 fee for placing a take-away order, which also was not disclosed. I don't see either fee mentioned on their website. In addition to the two hidden fees, I was also charged for something I did not order. I contacted them twice asking for a refund, and they completely ignored me, not apologizing nor offering a refund. One of the sandwiches was a soggy mess. The bread was completely saturated from the juices on the sandwich. The smoked tomato tartar sauce sounded great, but did not deliver in flavor. For a place that claims to have the best food on 30A, I find it odd they take lazy shortcuts and use frozen products. For example, the "Sidewinder" fries are a frozen food service product, and not even a good one. The potatoes are too thick. You can find the frozen fries online through Simplot Foods. There are a lot of options on 30A and in Destin and Miramar Beach. In the future, I will choose a place that values customers, doesn't have hidden fees, and uses all fresh product.More

We got the chowder and the beet salad. Chowder was very good but the beet salad had sand in it and the 4 little thin slices of beet hardly made it a "beet" salad. Other items on the menu seemed overpriced. Disappointed.

It has been about 4 years since my last review of Stinky's so thought an update was due. It seems they have survived the pandemic in good order and are operating as well as before. For this recent visit we came for Sunday brunch. There...was live music which was a very nice touch. The Ultimate Bloody Mary's are still outstanding. My wife had a bowl of the fowl gumbo and the house salad. I had the 1/2 oyster po-boy with a cup of the fowl gumbo. Prices are reasonable. Service was good. Doesn't get much better than this.More

Stinky’s is maybe our favorite restaurant in the area. From the atmosphere, the service and the food.. we’ve always had a great experience. The Fried Green Tomatoes are un-freaking-believable!! If you go and don’t get this appetizer you made a huge mistake.. it’s really that...good. The shrimp and grits are very good and very filling. All of the fresh fish entrees are amazing. You really can’t go wrong here. Enjoy!More

At a time when good service is rare, Stinky's once again delivered a great meal with prompt attention throughout. We enjoyed BBQ Shrimp with Andouille sausage, Fried Green Tomatoes, Scallops, and a kid's meal that was worthy of an adult meal. Took some leftovers home...which made a fantastic breakfast the next morning! Ended it with Key Lime Pie, which was worth the calories. Great job from start to finish.More

We visited on. Saturday for lunch before we headed to the beach. Our server was a pro and made us laugh and helped us order the perfect entrees. We split the Cobb salad with green goddess dressing (classic). My friend had grilled shrimp and I...had fish tacos, both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We had mimosas and enjoyed the view. We’ll be back.More
