Chanticleer Eatery is off the beaten path, but well worth the few extra minutes to find! We really put our heart into all that we do at Chanticleer. We make all that we can from scratch and that doesn't mean heat and serve! We bake all of our bread, slow smoke our pulled pork, serve the best prime grade steaks, make our soups with lots of love and of course make our to die for cookies from scratch! We are really passionate about awesome eats, and get so disappointed when we eat food that isn't thoughtful. We hope you can taste the difference at Chanticleer and look forward to serving you, "food worth crowing about"!

Cool décor with roosters on the tables -- very colorful. Lot's of inside and outside dining - no masks though. Hubby enjoyed the Riptide Amber and pulled pork plate with pork, baked beans and slaw, with cornbread. Clean plate! We split the side house salad...and the blue cheese dressing was great! I had the Rueben - Huge, 1/2 still in the fridge. And a huge helping of skinny fries. Topped off with a chocolate chip cookie Will be back!More

We had a delicious lunch at Chanticleer Eatery today. I had delicious shrimp and grits. The shrimp were plentiful and perfectly cooked. It also had smoked sausage with peppers and onions and just the right spice. My husband had the classic grilled cheese which he...liked. We shared the mile high key lime pie which was a great ending. Servers were not wearing masks but were very careful about standing away from the table as they took our order. The tables were separated.More

This was our favorite meal on our trip. We ordered to-go. They offered curbside but only if you could park up close, and the parking lot was full. The un-Brie-lievable sandwich, pulled pork, chicken bruschetta, and guacamole turkey sandwich were all delicious. The cheese grits...were piping hot and very well seasoned. Would love to try in person in non-COVID times. The restaurant was packed.More

Our favorite lunch spot did not disappoint our latest family member! Most customers were wearing masks, but employees did not. We ordered the tomato and bean soups along with the special grilled cheese, grilled chicken and turkey bacon avocado sandwiches. All are excellent and very...large portions. Until next time..More

While we were in Grayton beach for two months this fall, we dined at Chanticleer weekly. Their food and service were fantastic. My husband is certain that their smoked Reuben is the best he has ever had while I loved all of their soups. Tomato...Basil is on the menu daily and a rotating selection of great soups included chili, broccoli cheddar and AMAZING chicken and rice. Salads were always very fresh and interesting and the homemade breads are the bomb! Randie that works the bar during the day is one of the most delightful lady and you can see her smile through her mask. She made every visit extra special just through her sweet persona. You can tell she loves her job! We have moved further south for the winter and miss our wonderful Chanticleer for lunch. Unfortunately, we did not dine with them for dinner but I bet it is amazing.More

Stopped to get to-go sandwiches for lunch. The club sandwich and turkey bacon guacamole were delicious! Lots of toppings on the sandwiches, and the bread is baked fresh daily. The cobb salad was really good too!

Awesome food and desserts Chanticleer is one of my most favorite restaurants in Santa Rosa beach. The food is amazing. Everything is always so fresh. On our recent visit we ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. Our server mentioned the baker just finished...the cake. . To our delight the baker personally delivered the cake to our table. We found out the baker is also the owner. Her name is Emily and we enjoyed meeting her. The cake was amazing. The potions are very generous.More

Had lunch there just days ago while vacationing in the area. I had the turkey bacon guac sandwich w/tomato bisque, my SO had the steak sandwich w/fries. Both sandwiches were great - my bisque was barely lukewarm. Service started and ended well but our server...didn't check on us in between until we were finished eating or I'd have asked for the soup to be heated a bit. But the biggest issue was lack of masks for the ENTIRE staff. Not a mask in sight and this is just a couple days after the US has started the second major outbreak of Covid. If that's a big deal to you then you will want to eat elsewhere.More

Went with family for dinner on Thursday, Oct 8, arrived at 5 pm at the dinner opening time and were the second group to be seated outside. Their website has a special section detailing the preventative measures they take to prevent COVID-19, surprisingly masks don’t...seem to be part of that for employees at Chanticleer. All 4 adults ordered a different entree, took an extremely long time for food to arrive and none of the entrees were more than just ok. The service and food were much better at Tommy Bahamas, Pompano Joe’s, Great Southern Cafe and Grayton Seafood Company.More

A group of us had lunch at Chanticleer and everyone enjoyed their entree. Their bread is made in house, so good! I had the plain Jane grilled cheese with a cup of tomato basil bisque. Others had salads or sandwiches. Great place to sit outdoors...and have lunch.More

We're new to the 30A area, but that's where this is. It's right near Frank's Cash & Carry/Benjamin Moore paint.
