What a hidden gem in Santa Rosa Beach off 30A . Our group of 6 popped in around 6:30 pm . Chef Justin immediately greeted us and cleaned the table. He apologized it hadn’t been cleaned as his server did not show on this particular night. It was obvious this is someone who cares about the quality of the food he serves and the experience for his customers. Since there was construction happening next door and the view wasn’t as pretty as usual he offered us all a free drink! Each of us ordered something different off the menu and everyone agreed the food was delicious!! If you are in the area we highly recommended it

Chef’s Deli and the Bistro are both Chef Justin Sharpe’s establishments. We happen to dine in the Bistro and it was amazing. Glass of Cabernet and the crab cake starter was the perfect introduction. My en’ tree was a filet surf and turf with the potato chip crusted grouper, wonderful. My partner had the grouper Mediterranean which was equally delicious. Our server, Jason, was very attentive and a delight to talk to. Overall a delightful culinary experience, not to be missed.

Found this new gem while looking for breakfast options close by our vacation rental. Service was excellent. Food was fresh and tasty. It is not a very big place but seating isn't crammed either. Waiter showed us dinner menu with lots of options and mentioned daily specials. We will be back to try this place again. Also noticed some interesting happy hour specials from 3-5 daily. Check it out. You won't be disappointed

I had an unpleasant experience while visiting this establishment. While I was waiting for my food, I got a very unenjoyable and uninviting show. I was sitting outside at their outdoor eating area. From inside I could hear very clearly (what I assume to be the owner), shouting and degrading her staff. Cussing at the waitress and another woman. Saying things such as, I will put my hands on you, and screaming as loud as she could. Remind you I am sitting outside, and I could hear this. The "owner" then asked a customer who was waiting at the front what she would like to order. The customer asked to speak to another member of staff because she felt uncomfortable interacting with someone who was just screaming at her staff. The "owner" then stated well if you are not going to order anything why are you here.
This was very concerning to hear. I was hoping for a nice relaxing dinner and what I got was totally not that. It was very uncomfortable to listen to an owner belittle and cuss at staff. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If they are treating their staff and customers like that, they don't deserve business.

This is an awesome small, family restaurant. We took a chance after seeing their name on a FB feed and following their FB page! We love seafood, especially fresh gulf seafood. We had grouper tacos and kettle chip crusted grouper. Both were really amazing, and we are really picky when it comes to freshly prepared grouper. The atmosphere was super relaxed and peaceful, which is hard to find in the area. The food, very attentive and personal service, and sweet smiles and topped it all! We will definitely be back. Have gone for lunch several times. The sandwiches are just fantastic. My favorite is the reuben. Not cheap but the orders are large enough to share.

We stumbled upon Chef 30A Bistro from other TripAdvisor reviews and couldn’t agree more! We arrived at lunchtime, and wanted something easy and good. We were amazed by the culinary delight and creative menu of this chef-owned bistro!! We ended up coming back four times in 4 days enjoying something different each time. We also enjoyed interacting with Chef Justin, and hearing about his passion for his craft. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were trying to decide where to have dinner, and she mentioned Chef's Table at Gulf Place. We had never been let down before at this restaurant, and our dinner tonight was freshly prepared, and was one of the most delicious meals the two of us had ever shared together.
She got fresh fish enchiladas, while I ordered the Grouper New Orleans. We were almost blown away by the quality of the food we received and shared a bite with each other's plates. The portions were very generous, served hot, and were beyond delicious.
For dessert, we shared a slice of their homemade Key Lime Pie. It was one of the best treats we ever had.
We have eaten at Chef's Deli several times, and have never been dissatisfied. Service is excellent, the staff is cordial, and they strive for perfection.
With such great food, one would expect a bump up in cost, but sometimes, it's just dog-gone worth it.

Popped in for dinner and our party order 4 very different meals- barbecue shrimp, meatball sandwich , fish tacos and a poke bowl. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and great service! We will definitely go back when we are in area.

This was our second time having dinner at Chef’s 30A Deli. Once again, the food was amazing. I feel the quality of food is as good as any high priced gourmet restaurants around.

Very unassuming but had dinner and breakfast here. I had the Chefs Cioppino and my wife had the Lasagna. Large portions very reasonably priced. I highly recommend
