While visiting for a short vacation and a long half marathon we were introduced to this local gem. From the moment we walked in the experience was awesome. Louis was in house and greeted us with a hug and handshake and we were seated right away, for a party of 6 it was pretty impressive especially seeing busy it was.... More

Our attempt to eat dinner with friends on Friday was a very bad experience. Right at the start we were told our party could not be seated as one person was  going to be a few minutes late. We were then allowed to be seated ( as per the manager ) if we would text our late person for her... More

Our attempt at dinner was a disaster from start to finish and we left without ordering food or finishing our wine. Our waiter was angry and aggressively rude. Requesting a wine list and a second (gasp) drinks menu for a party of eight nearly pushed him over the edge. Imagine our disappointment when we asked to speak with a manager... More

This was our 2nd year to visit and once again it was awesome! The pork tenderloin was fabulous. We had a party of 15 and the server was awesome!

Decided on this place at the last minute. What a great place this is. Seated right away. Not real big but a busy place. Great atmosphere. Pictures, chandeliers , and stuff everywhere. Pretty cool. Owner walks around chatting. Nice touch. There is a very limited menu here. A few appetizers and fivebentrees to choose from. We had the blackened grouper... More

I live nearby and pop in weekly for drinks, dinner or just dessert. No telling how many visits I've had or how much money I have spent there but I thought it was time to give them a review. The staff is fantastic and both Louis' (father and son) make you feel like family. The menu is simple but the... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very reminiscent of New Orleans with decor that is quite unique in an area of your typical Florida seafood houses. With a menu of five or six items, service is very quick. The food was delicious and well prepared. Crab cakes were well done as was the salad with their signature dressing. My daughter-in-law... I agree that there is little difference from Red Bar at Grayton Beach, but I don't think that is a bad thing. Better parking, more space. Serviice was great. Food is consistently excellent, albeit limited in choices-but that makes it easier to make a decision too. Blackened grouper and grit cake is fantastic, as is the pasta and crab cakes.... More

Louis-Louis is famous for their crabcakes, which are wonderful, but they also have other great items. I had the shrimp and crawfish pasta which was great. This place is decorated very uniquely. Just really cozy! Get off the beaten path and places you have at home. Try something you will remember the next time you travel to this area.

Quirky, yes, that's a good word. We enjoyed our meal. That said, the menu is limited to 5 choices. If you don't eat fish, that leaves one on most nights. Each dinner comes with pretty much the same sides - at least the night we were there - mashed potatoes and a salad. They just changed out the protein. I'm... More

LouisLouis is the sister restaurant of the famous and iconic Red Bar. It is very similar in style, and cuisine, but has it's own charm, and uniqueness about it. LouisLouis is casual dining, but with great service, and fantastic food options. Our menu is not very large, but our portions are. We only use the best, and freshest ingredients. If you are in the Santa Rosa Beach/Destin/Panama City Beach area, please come and dine with us. You won't be disappointed!
