Love this place! We make a point to stop in whenever in Sanibel. The food is great - fried grouper sandwich is awesome! Service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is perfect - laid back and inviting. Gotta check this place out if ever on the island!

Cute restaurant. We had a pound of shrimp which had been boiled. Nowhere on the menu did it mention how they are served and I probably should have asked. We had a great waitress, HOWEVER, when it came time for our bill, we waited an excruciatingly long 15 minutes. I never did get a satisfactory response on why it took... More

We always have great service here! The food and atmosphere make this a place to enjoy and relax. (Periwinkle Way). Nice place to go after being at the beach or a day out on the boat... The seafood is fresh, and the beer selection and drinks is pretty darn good! It is our "go to" on Sanibel.

Went for lunch. Fun atmosphere, small restaurant. Place order with bartender - he calls out your name when food is ready. Best grouper I have had in a long time and I live in FL.

LOVED the place! We had a bad experience at another resturant and actually got up and left prior to ordering. We came here to The Lazy Flamingo to try it out and we were so pleased. It only has about 6 tables and a bar and the night we were there there was one man working the front and one... More

Stopped for lunch during our bike ride to the Sanibel Lighthouse. The Conch Chowder and fritters were excellent. Went back two days later and got some more at dinner.

We stopped at this cafe' for dinner and it was alright. The food was served fast and the service was good but there are better restaurants on the island.

We dined at the Lazy Flamingo because it was rated as having one of the best grouper sandwiches on Sanibel. I had the fried grouper and my husband had the mesquite grilled with bland coleslaw. The mesquite was definitely better than the fried grouper, but the bun fell apart after a few bites of the mesquite grilled grouper. Neither were... More

We found this place when I searched on my cell and were very satisfied. Shawn & I had a grilled grouper sandwich platter and Amy had grilled chicken Caesar salad also added a dz. clams. Everything was great, service, cleanliness & price. Highly recommend and will visit again when I'm in area.

Quick drop in for lunch and found this grill to be terrific. I ordered a cheese burger and it tasted hot off the grill. It was served in a basket over top of a pile of seasoned fries. Very juicy and delicious. Claims to be a local hangout and decor looks like a old marina. There is outdoor seating too.... More
