One daughter of mine loves giraffes - so we lunched at the Blue Giraffe. The other daughter loves Flamingos, so we had to have dinner here. It's only fair. What can I say. The interior of the building looks like a fun and happening pub. There was a good mix of diners and people enjoying a drink. We opted to... More

The Lazy Flamingo is a friendly restaurant featuring homemade food at great prices! They also offer wine and beer, and make a delicious sangria! The mussels marinara feature homemade sauce and are delicious. Outdoor seating is available. Add them to your dinner list while on Sanibel!

Easy place to enjoy a beer and some fried food. This time around we also did a to go order of stone crabs. Made for an easy dinner with a salad later that evening. Friendly service is a plus.

Our first stop on Sanibel is always Lazy Flamingo for lunch. We have the grouper which is always prepared great. This place has a laid back atmosphere and the service is always excellent.

We've been visiting Sanibel for many years and have been regular visitors to the Lazy Flamingo. However it failed to live up to previous visits.....and we didn't go back. The shrimp was well past fresh and the atmosphere felt like it was more of a bar than a restaurant. Real shame as we had previously enjoyed our visits there. I'd... More

After a morning on the beach we went to the Lazy Flamingo to eat. The food was good and we sat at the bar. It was good bar food and we left happy.

Went there not knowing what to expect. Staff was great. It's a bar that serves good food at good prices, but limited options if you want to eat healthy. Shrimp and smoked salmon were great.

Made our way to the original restaurant for Sunday lunch. Was not what I expected, but was pleasantly surprised. Order at the bar and pick up you food there when they yell your name. Had the fried shrimp and it was good. Fun place, you want go wrong.

Great place to drop in, have a cold beer and some great clam chowder and peel and eat shrimp. The ribs are also great. This is a seat yourself kind of place and you pick your food up at the counter. The kids always love playing the hook game on the wall.
