Great service. We ate lunch here after reading all of the good reviews. My only suggestion for improvemt would be to offer half portions or let the customer know that their meal will be the only calories they will need for two days. It was the only meal we ate that day and we didn't even finish it all.

The Island Cow is nearly always crowded but that is testament to the quality of their food and service. Black and Bleu Burger is fantastic.

We used to be huge fans of the Cow. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment. They no longer have the wide range of fresh catch fish that we used to enjoy. Fried shrimp was a bit overcooked and salty; shrimp po'boy was good but too much bread for the sandwich. And really noisy. We might try again for breakfast... More

Kept driving by and decided to give it a try, wished I would have stopped sooner our meal was really good. Try the conch fritter the were awesome, Hubby had the ribs and was very happy with them. I would highly recommend the place.

Basically the best patty melt and fries I had in my entire life! Super crunchy fries and an awesome grilled patty with bacon and cheese and sautéed onions on a simply toasted bun. But it tasted like heaven!

Island Cow is ALWAYS busy and has a broad menu. Service was good, fun environment, good (not great) food.

This was my first visit, it wasn't too crowded at 5pm on a Saturday. I had the Sanibel Snapper, blackened, with sautéed spinach and shrimp cream sauce, garnished with 4 fresh blackened shrimp. Outstanding. Can't wait to go back. Rum runner was a frozen drink, very nice, definitely enough rum.

We come here every time we visit SW Florida and take a day to hang out in Sanibel. This place caps off an evening perfectly for families with bored kids who haven't the patience to wait for a table (sometimes up to 45 mins in season). How? Games like Cornhole! A live parrot! Adirondack chairs and tables in the back... More

For the wait time it wasn't worth it. Not a lot of sitting area while waiting. Bugs eat you alive. Our waitress didn't get friendly until we were almost done eating. Me personally I wouldn't go back.

Thank Toni P
