WOW, I saw this place from across the street after I had finished lunch already, but I walked here out of curiosity. I find out they have lunch here too and they have Cuban black beans and rice and pork too. I just got a smoothie to go. Very good service too.

We're usually pleased with our order, but the most recent visit we ordered "Classic Cuban" sandwiches. It looked great until we bit into them only to find they used oregano...yes oregano. No way in heck does that seasoning belong in an unadulterated Cuban sandwich. They should have included that in their listed ingredients;the oregano completely hijacked the carefully developed original... More

As other reviews suggest, it's easy to overlook the deli in this store that sells sundries, but the food is quite good. My son enjoyed a generous turkey sandwich, my wife a good veggie collection, and I had an okay Caesar salad with shrimp. (Strangely, it was need greens rather than romaine, the Parmesan was finely ground rather than shaved,... More

It's a quick in out food place with some beach items, but do Check out the $9.50 Cuban sandwich -- plenty of ham to squeeze into your mouth wrapped in butcher paper-- like they used to do. Companion had Chicken Cesar Salad-- excellent with plenty of chicken and first rate dressing for $8.95. I had a Long Board Beer at... More

A tiny little deli with a couple of tables outside. Deli sandwiches made to order. Some hot food and an EXCELLENT shrimp geviche. Everything seems fresh and tastes excellent.

Shrimp is fresh wild caught Gulf shrimp, we work hard and process in-house. No farm raised shrimp here just local and sustainable. Thank you! More

Their Cuban sandwich is a must for everyone to get, unbelievable!! The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's one of those hidden places you wonder if worth going into. Do stop and go it. Their food is one of the best hidden Jews on Sanibel Island. We went back for dinner that night to try some... More

Maybe others found something more palatable on the menu, but my salad was average with very dry chicken. The shrimp dishes looked like they might be a better choice.

Sorry, I wish you had let us switch options for you. Chicken tends to be dry unless marinated which we do not do as of this time. Chicken is boring compared to our shrimp. Thank you for the feedback it all helps. More

Took over an hour to get two eggs sandwiches. Seems a catering order was keeping the kitchen busy. Many annoyed customers waiting outside. We should have been told of the backup when we ordered.

Sorry for the delay, there was a catering order ahead of your order and we should have estimated your wait time better. Always nice to relax on the porch with a coffee or Latte'. This time of year, high season, is tough and there is always a wait though ours is significantly less than across the street and we get... More
