We only ate here twice during our stay for breakfast and once for lunch and all 3 meals were solid. Good food and good service.

I have to say that for lunch the Sea Star is good. My last review of the Sea Star was based on eating in the restaurant which was disappointing. However, if you're staying at the Sanibel Inn having lunch at the Tiki Bar or poolside the Sea Star is a good bet.

but the food was good. Mid week off season we walked from our room at the Sanibel Inn. Very skeptical as there was only one other party there and one waitress. Food and service turned out to be very good. By the time we left there were about 7 groups but the waitress had it covered just fine.

what a gem. The food was exceptional, music was mellow...the drink were large and ample. The service was good and all of our food was cooked fresh. I recommend the coconut shrimp...my husband had shrimp scampi, and I had an Island Style salad. Very ample...even took some home with us. Key Lime pie was super.

I recently visited Sanibel with a few girlfriends and decided to try out some local restaurants. We came upon this restaurant which is connected to a resort on Sanibel. Walking in, we noticed the restaurant was very empty, only one other family was eating. There were only two servers that I could see. The lovely lady who waited on us,... More

We ate here on our first night as we were tired and it was conveniently on site. It was good... Nothing fancy but we left satisfied. We had burgers and fish & chips and shared a huge slice of cheesecake.

First off, we were staying at the Inn and the food was wonderful! For dinner, we had blackened grouper with coconut rice and sauteed veggies that were crisp and fresh. Our favorite lunches by the pool were the chicken club with perfectly prepared homemade potato chips! The chips were amazing! Chicken was tender and flavorful and grilled with great spices.... More

We ate here as it was our first night and we were staying at the Sanibel Inn. No atmosphere, with poor menu that was expensive. Staff were friendly but managed to get a few things rung no cutlery, no water( until we requested) and an incorrect bill. They really need to up there game.

The best Grouper we on our entire Florida trip. Nice restaurant but they don't know to market the place. Had only 6 tables full out maybe 40. No bread basket, everything was ala cart. No prices listed for there fish dinners? our grouper was $22. Also you have to walk up stairs so elderly people may have issue, I did... More
