Had dinner here last month with a large party. There wasn't one person in the group who liked their meal. The food is horrible. I very rarely write a negative review for anything but this place really deserved one. The one star we gave it was for the very pleasant waiter!

For years this has been one of our favorite Italian seafood restaurants. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is a tight fit sometimes loud environment. Well worth the wait.

The service here is the most splendid on the island! As soon as we walked in, my mom and I felt like super stars...or old friends...or old friends and super stars! The wait staff is so friendly! We've been coming here every summer for the past three years and every time it is the same! The food is ridiculously delicious!... More

I visited Il Tesoro for the first time in almost a year. The food and service were impeccable as usual. However It was a tad bit warm, and was told they had anu issues with the ac. I was told it would be fixed soon. I came in yesterday, and the air was fixed and more than comfortable. Our usual... More

We took our family (of 5) to dinner at this quaint little restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, not many tables although I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working or it there just isn't any, but it was very hot inside and they had a few stand up fans to help circulate the air. The food was very good,... More

This restaurant has an absolutely beautiful man yeah! We tried three different primary entrées – and every single one of them was as tasty as the next ! I would say their portions are quite large – and the service is superb ! Feels like a very well-established well oiled machine . The atmosphere is very cozy and romantic but... More

We have eaten here a few times and each time, it exceeds our already high expectations from previous experiences. The staff had great recommendations and were very knowledgeable about the food and region of Italy that inspired each dish. It is refreshing to come to a restaurant that isn't impacted by tourists and feels authentic and Il Tesoro fits that... More

What a great little authentic restaurant! The food was superb and the service was perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and did not disappoint. Being from New York City, the food met expectations, came out hot, and was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you are vacationing in sanibel or just in the area. Will certainly come back again.

Great little Italian place tucked away next to an art gallery. Great menu and wine selection. Outstanding service in an intimate atmosphere. Best meatballs I have ever eaten

They try hard, but don't quite make it. Sorry we spent one of our precious vacation dinners here. It was expensive and just average. My mixed fish dish was overly peppered, though I took care to ask for a mild dish.
