This place has a cool atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The dining area was really clean. The menu is extensive. So, look it over before you go to avoid decision fatigue. The Gourmet Potato Pancakes are literally the best ones I have ever...eaten. My hubby got the Rubinstein and it had amazing fresh-made chips with a very unique seasoning. So good! Our server was attentive and we got our food faster than expected. Our meals for 2 adults totaled $25 (including tip). The food was simply plated, look pretty, and was hot. All of our food was tasty. They had a lage selection of beer and wine that we didn't try. Its a good place for families, couples, and larger parties.More

Went with family and the joint was hopping. Our server was great...kept us fully beveraged, and the plates clear. Sauerbraten was fabulous. The bar (we found out) was shipped over from Germany. Incredible! It is loud when the bad is playing, so keep that in...mind.More

Rosie and I drove to Hollerbach's on our way to Smyrna Dunes on a Tuesday.. Got there just after 11 am and parked on the 1st street (free 2 hrs). Seated curb side. Maggie was our server. She was wearing "Girlyhosen." Delightful server. Rosie had...a medium sweet Reisling and I had the house Hollerbach draft (brewed by 3 Sisters in Tampa). We shared the Schlachthaus Platte Fur Zwei (for 2). Wurst plate. Excellent! Rosie (1st generation German) said it is the best German food she has had in USA. Couldn't finish our Platte. Maggie gave us raffle tickets to go to Hollerbach's deli around the corner. Got wieswurst and German Chocolate cake to go!More

My family recommended this German restaurant so we met them for dinner. We got a table right away. Waitress was amazing. Very friendly! We ordered our drinks and later our food. It did not take long for the food. Everything tasted really good. It was...worth the visit. There’s public parking in front.More

We called ahead regarding gluten free and were told that the GF food is prepared in a separate area but in the same room so they couldn't guarantee completely against cross contamination. We decided to go for it. We were seated quickly in the outside...area that is allowable for dogs. Our server brought a GF menu for us and was knowledgeable on the GF options. All servers that we observed were wearing masks. I had a delicious GF beer to start while my girlfriend enjoys the Gummi-tini. We shared 2 sausages and the goulash, both were delicious. They even brought out cute little GF bread loafs for us! The serving sizes were big enough for us to share and still have leftovers.More

We too have frequented this restaurant many times over the years and unfortunately the past three times it has become mediocre. Service not good, food mediocre just not the same. Assuming Theo is not there to oversee everything, they are now banking on the name....Don’t think we.ll be back for awhile.More

visted the Willow Tree many times over the last 24 years in the area. In the past we had many special occasions there with large groups and small parties. For years we had successful meals here and great service, German food is one of my...favorites. However the last 4 times there I've been disappointed in the food, soggy spaetlze, dry sauerbraten etc. The service is OK, since the new portion has opened, service is spotty and many of the servers seem unhappy. I gave it a 3 because I'll continue to try and hope this slump may be covid related?? I know my spirits aren't what they usually are, but for a while I'll stick to my own sauerbraten and spatzle! Come back Willow Tree!!!More

Thank you for an amazing meal! We were visiting family and stopped here on a recommendation! Everyone's meals were delicious, and you easily had the best kids meals around!! We were impressed with your waitstaff, who understood that during these times, that we would prefer...to be farther than normal from people. They sat us in our own corner, and only 2 other tables were seated near us by the end of the meal, with plenty of space. We truly appreciated that. Each meal was fantastic. At the end, our table shared the german chocolate cake, which I'm told was great, and the Bierkuchen cake which topped off the meal perfectly. We really appreciated your staff going above and beyond again, when we realized our 7 year old have forgotten her purse (nothing important in it, but some toys and candy) and you guys shipped it back to Michigan for us!!! She was so excited to have her toys back!! I will also say, I thoroughly enjoyed the pink lemonade too! Thank you for a great, safe experience.More

Came up for a weekend quick hit and ended up at Hollerbachs twice! Wore out Tract at dinner in the Biergarten rooftop and that made it even more fun! Super authentic German home cooking and great bier selection. The ladies even got a wonderful strawberry...basil margarita. Had so much fun. Tables around us buying us shots as we were dressed up and having fun. Definitely will be back in tract!!More
