Fun spot, good oysters

After a day of travel, our entire group was really grateful that the Acme Oyster Bar was only 100 feet from our town home in LeJardin. Short walk to fresh oysters, gumbo and cold beer. What could be better.

We live just a short distance from the Sandestin area and frequently do day trips to the area. We tried this location looking for something new to add to our list of places to go. The restaurant itself is very small. There aren't any restrooms in the building, you have to walk outside and down the way to the public... More

We had lunch at ACME with some friends while in Sandestin for a wedding. It was a very enjoyable event. I had the fried fish poboy and fries. Fries do not come with the sandwich and I as surprised at how small the order of fries was. I had really anticipated sharing the with the table. There were really good,... More

A clone of the one in New Orleans. AMAZING charbroiled oysters. Nice beer selection. Loved the ambiance. Friendly staff.

the fried catfish platter was overpriced but my husband said it was good. my grilled shrimp platter with onions, mushrooms, and sweet potato fries was decent. I liked the sweet potato fries. My mother said her bowl of gumbo was way too salty and she couldn't finish it, I gave her some of my food. The service was great though.... More

Just got the side dishes, but the red beans and rice were the best. It was quite late when we got there and warm outside, so this hit the spot.

We enjoyed dinner on an anniversary trip. Loved the broiled and fried oysters along with fried shrimp. A little on the pricey side but worth it.

Price is even with the area. Leroy was great. Po boy comes with no sides with a approx 15$ price tag. I got coleslaw(good) and fries(ok) on the side .. get the spicy mayo. Very over priced for lunch in my opinion, but good food and nice service. I will try again one day..

The Acme Oyster is a little challenge to get through in the Baytown compound, don't worry the guard give you a pass easily. A very quaint village area with several restaurant choices. The facility is small but sit outside if the weather permits is the better choice... Noisy inside Chargrilled Oysters are the Bomb... You gotta try them. We both... More
