We didn't know what to expect from this Creole Cafe. The food was too rich and starchy. Service was ok. Dessert was good.

A touch of Louisiana on the west coast of Florida. We were several years out from our last trip to New Orleans and real Cajun food when Dorian drove us to the St. Petersburg and the need for comfort food. We stumbled across the Chiefs...More

Chiefs Creole Cafe is 3.1 miles west of Mahaffey Theatre. Probably a 10 minute drive; there is good, readily available parking at both ends.

Thank you for your inquiry. As far as gluten free...the only items that we offer would be the Creole Wings and our Vegetable Medley. To answer your question specifically, we do not soak our grits in chicken broth.
