First visit to this place and it was amazing! We did order our lunch ahead of time using the patio to go feature, picked it up, and ate it there in their shaded patio. Then we did some shopping and got all kinds of goodies...to bring home. We went on a Saturday and we were there from about 12:30 till 1:30 and I will tell you it was packed and it was insane. You need to go there with your patience and not worry about everybody getting in your way.More
Food and pastries are just great. Only my 2nd time here. Sandwiches made to order on a half loaf of fresh bread. Bought some canolli cake and espresso cake. Loved them both
LOVE this market. It's huge with lots of food, wine and too many other items to mention!! You almost feel like you're in Italy! A must go to site.
I stepped back decades in time during this visit, savoring the smells of real Italian meats and cheese I enjoyed as a kid out buying what my dad called real food that came from his Sicilian mother’s cucina. Forget the calories and enjoy life here.
If you want Italian you went to the right place! What ever u r cooking or want to eat …. You will find there and it the best!
Can’t believe I had never been here before. The place is amazing. Great selections to either eat on their patio or to take out. It will be on my list for an early visit next trip. Highly recommended
Really nice store and restaurant and coffee shop. Great selection of Italian food, really good sandwich options. Really good bakery items, and coffee. They do have a area where you can sit and eat your lunch. Inside coffee area, good selection of cake's and pastries.
This is without a doubt one of the finest markets in Florida. All of the food and products here are top drawer. The bakery items are fantastic. The cafe offers some of the best Italian food you will ever eat. Go out of your way...to come here.More
I grew up eating real Italian food every day made by grandmothers & aunts. I know what it suppose to taste like. I honestly was shocked to taste how absolutely authentic the food tasted . I and my family visiting St. Pete for a wedding...had eggplant parm, lasagna & chicken parm. I can't speak to other offerings but these were perfect, so I assume the rest is too. If you're in St. Pete and want QUALITY , real Italian food then go there because it's a safe bet!More
There are just some things for which it’s just best to shop at a real Italian market. Truffles and truffle oils, prosciutto, Italian cheeses—come to mind. If you live nearby or are cooking in your vacation stay, you just can’t beat the ingredients you can...find here. The lines tell you that their prepared foods must be pretty darned good as well. BUT, if you don’t go when they first open, you’ll be stuck in a mess of traffic and crowded lots. Go early, skip the crowds, get your ingredients, pick up a snack, and get out of dodge. Your stomach and nervous system will thank you.More
Looking for Italian food? Look no further. This is the BEST! From wine to dessert, they have it all!
This place is truly an experience. Old school Italian market with everything you would expect and then some. What's not to like?
My wife and I had not visited a Mazzarro’s before this and knew nothing about them. We were part of a tour bus outing, arriving about mid day. It was already lunchtime-busy and a bus load of new people contributed to the confusion. That said,...my wife and I have never had a more delicious Philly steak sandwiche or roast turkey-jalapeño panini. The Philly steak sandwich was hot and plentiful, containing with a tasty shaved ribeye, white American cheese, and sautéed onions on a soft Hoagie bun. My “panini of the day” was a hot toasted roast turkey with melted cheese and jalapeño. The portions were huge - we could easily have split one. As it was, neither of us could finish our sandwiches. The ordering process was very confusing and we still don’t understand it. The building contains different rooms and there are even different sections for ordering different foods within the same room. I discovered this after waiting 20 or so minutes and ordering a chicken BBQ sandwich only to be told that I had to order from the guy standing next to him because that sandwich wasn’t made “there”. The signage was difficult to read unless you were upfront and the customer noise was so loud that we couldn’t hear the lady behind the counter trying to shout instructions (or numbers?). Sounding like a complaint? I wouldn’t change a thing. It was one of the most fun experiences ever.More
Tried Mazzaro's Italian Market for lunch and some specialty food items to take home. A really busy lunch hour. Great sandwiches (subs) and other Italian options. Will try again.
