Favorite local bar. Happy hour provides inexpensive well & beer options and food discounts. Decent food with plenty of options. Easy docking/access for small boats (up to 50'). Friendly staff. Trivia every Monday with Katie! Sunday "Power hour" from 11-12 for food & drink specials.

A simple place for waterfront eating. The food is good. The place is casual. You may come by boat. The Sunday morning special is a true value. Must order between 11 am and 12 noon.

This is a nice little restaurant / bar on the waterfront. I have been here several times. One night we even saw an alligator floating against the current. I wasn't a big fan of that but I'm a fan of chilling out at this place with friends. Food prices are not that bad.

Was recommended and we were glad we listened! Sunday power hour (11A-12P) is a DEAL! Fish tacos, mimosas, chicken wings, Bloody Mary's, and draft beer were all on special and were excellent! You can tell it is good as it was packed immediately after opening and was mostly locals. Will recommend and frequent again.

We were hungry after a few beers at the St. Pete Brewing Company, so we visited Fish Tales for an early dinner (about 4PM) It's right on a canal, so there were always boats cruising back and forth, quite scenic. The place itself is "Old Florida". It's outside, and that means no air conditioning and yes, there were bugs. Still,... More

This place was reccommended by a local. We were trying to support some of our South side neighbors. Food and service were terrible. The place is dirty. Don't waste your time finding it or your $.

I guess fisherman with no lives go here.. whats with the smell there? Fishy smell of rotten whatever fell off the deck.. The gals who work here,... More

My husband and I went here for a last minute dinner. The food is overpriced for what it is. We paid $13 for a chicken basket and $17 for a seafood volcano thing. My husband enjoyed his seafood, my chicken was flavorless. The only non-seafood option was the chicken. No atmosphere, no fun. Wouldnt go back.

We come here because it's close to our house and we enjoy the dockside dining experience. The food is average. We ordered stone crab claws and they had to have been frozen as they were almost bitter tasting. Snow crab was good, and the fish sandwich is also good.

We went a couple times. Seems they have a hard time anticipating the crowd. The quality of the food has fluctuated somewhat in the past few years. Lately, it has been better. I don't mind waiting as long as they keep the quality up.
