Visited the area for my husband’s 50th birthday. The ambience was nice and the service was good; however, the food was average. The lobster bisque and lamb chops were good, but the lobster mac and cheese was awful. It was a shell pasta with more...of a red sauce giving you a spaghetti/ravioli type feel, and they were undercooked. There’s nothing worse than an uncooked nasty pasta with very few pieces of lobster. This will not be a place I plan to return to if I come back to visit the Tampa area.More
Our table wide consensus is that this steakhouse is simply an overpriced Outback Steakhouse. It was pricey and the food just didn't match the prices.
The decor is nice and the service certainly acceptable but neither would bring us back. There are certainly better choices...available in the area.More
We had never been here before. I decided to take my husband for a surprise date night to celebrate his birthday. Everything was amazing. We started with the beef carpaccio and drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. Our bartender was so...fantastic we decided to just sit at the bar to enjoy our dinner. The butcher's block had a nice assortment of meat and cheese with the addition of almonds, honeycomb, and pickles. We had sandwiches with truffle fries. Everything tasted wonderful. The bartender made a variety of different drinks for my husband, all of which he enjoyed. Great experience!More
We ate here for our anniversary while on vacation. Our waiter was lovely and very attentive. The restaurant was very slow and the food came promptly. Our dinner was amazing! They even served us a complementary dessert to celebrate.
During the Pinellas County, FL, Covid-19 ‘quarantine’, we were able to dine (at home) from our favorite restaurant, Rococo Steak. Fortunately, they improvised. We just had a take out meal of two perfectly cooked filets (med-rare), Parmesan fries, Mac-n-cheese, Caesar salad, and a chocolate ‘birthday’...tort. All perfectly prepared. Hot foods were hot, fries crispy, and salad and tort nicely chilled. Thank you, Rococo, for staying open for pickup meals as good as this. We look forward to the end of Covid-19, and resuming our dine-in experience. Thank you to “Will” and the chef’s at Rococo. Stay Safe and healthy.
We had a group of 18 that sat in the private wine room---great atmosphere, great servers, great food and fantastic drinks! I had the bone in rib eye which was perfect and i had the "smoke" for an after dinner drink, very good smokey tasting...old fashioned!More
We tried this for the first time on Valentine's Eve. Read about it , dressed for a classy place(sport coat, dress shirt , nice slacks and wife had stylish outfit suitable for a high end restaurant). Valet was right there, looked impressive and we went...in.
We were greeted by a host who had a worn plaid flannel shirt on. Friendly enough but not dressed in "casual smart" by any means. We were seated in a booth and the couple in the next table were dressed very casually as well. Woman had jeans jacket and skirt and fellow had old polo shirt. I was really beginning to wonder if I knew what smart casual was anymore.
Service was very adequate although not overly friendly. Wife had a very good sea bass and my aged ribey was cooked properly but was a bit tougher than it should have been. The creamed spinach looked like it might have sat under a heat lamp a bit too long. The sauce was not so much creamy as gooey. Tasted ok.
Very good wine list. Interesting looking private rooms. We would go back but Bern's, Ruth's Chris and Cafe Ponte will get my "dress up " business well before Rococco. This would be a good expense account destination.More

It was a special getaway for us, too. I wore smart casual. My husband had on a long sleeved crisp shirt and long pants(no tie or jacket) and I had a dress one may where to work or church. It is elegant inside, and the service was great as was the food. I was not prepared for such a nice place and was pleased. Can't wait to go again. I am sure you will enjoy it.
