Have been many times, mostly for work lunches. They do get very busy with the lunch crowd. Their Guac is fresh and great. I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy and all ingredients seem fresh. Note: it's a small space and gets crowded and loud. If this isn't your type of place, maybe avoid during busier hours. Definitely going... More

We drove over from Tampa to visit my two sisters who live in St Pete, and planned to meet at the Red Mesa. This is one of our usual meeting places, as the food is great and the service equally top notch. We arrive around 2pm on the Saturday after New Years, and the place was still full and busy.... More

First time here. We saw reviews on Tampa bay newspaper and decided to try it...I don't like mushrooms and asked for sauce on side but the mushroom sauce they served on my chicken was out of this world! Lapping it up. Husband totally enjoyed his panko grilled pork! We'll be back!

The folks at Red Mesa serve excellent food at reasonable prices. We had shrimp tacos grilled while our table mates (who are regulars here) had the enchiladas. Apparently they can't break away from the enchiladas. We were told the tacos would not be your typical texas/Mexican restaurant food, and they were right. Our tacos were exceptional. There seems to be... More

The food and service were great, as usual! If you like spicy food, try the chipotle shrimp. If you like really hot food, ask them to kick it up a few notches. Yummy!

Awesome food, distinguished herbs & spices. Tremendous shrimp tacos with absolute flavors, the stuffed shrimp are second to none, and the black bean soup is the best anywhere.

We enjoyed the tale end of a HH..which is a rare occurrence for us (points at her). The house margarita at half price comes from a tap and taste like kids sweet limeade. One is plenty, or you may enter into diabetic shock. Plenty of other options are worth the extra price. Moved into seating and ordered up a feast..a... More

A great and u hair restaurant with outside seating and fountains. Visited at night and the scenery was quaint. The waiter was knowledgeable and honest of what is good. The ceviche has 6 or more types and has a sampler that is wonderful and a good price. Tuna tacos for appitizer were great. Highly recommend the place.

We frequent this restaurant every time we're in town. The food is authentic and tastes wonderful. Currently, wouldn't visit this restaurant until after 5pm while the building next door is under construction, unless you want to sit inside. We had to move inside due to the extremely loud construction noise directly next door. It was so loud we couldn't hear... More
