It is highly unlikely that I would give a “5” rating to walk up to order and pay at the bar restaurant on my first visit. But this grouper sandwich is the best I’ve ever eaten. Certainly it is correctly fried, but a real key...More

Best burger in Downtown St. Pete. The Tavern is so much more than deli sandwiches and tasty grouper! (Foodie, please note that the owner is known for visiting the docks and picking out the fish he cooks! This means that if you order grouper, you...More

I believe the reason this place is so popular is its crunchy grouper sandwich. It is one of the best I have every had, and I have eaten a lot of them! Most of the time when you walk in you can see a guy...More

Since that's their specialty, I can't imagine they would. I haven't seen any review that indicated it being unavailable. A call ahead wouldn't be amiss if you're concerned. You can probably even preorder....
