Fun place, great music, but waitress kept my tab open after I paid cash and asked her to close it. Big headache, but they ran up my tab after I left. Only had 2 beers, so not the alcohols fault.

We were visiting the marina just off Central Avenue. We decided to explore the main drag and chose to stop here for lunch. We had the most bodacious Bloody Mary's !
My GF and I stopped in for dinner. Looked like a place catering to a younger party crowd, featuring “big ass drinks”. The menu featured typical pub food with a unique grilled Mac and cheese sandwich, which I tried. My GF had the Thai chicken...tacos. We also had the southwestern egg rolls appetizer. The food was decent, tacos spicy hot with Thai chili sauce, egg rolls middle of the road and satisfying, and the grilled Mac and cheese with pulled pork on Texas toast very filling. The pork was a bit fatty- more than usual for pulled pork. GF had a key lime martini which she enjoyed. It was a creamy concoction. The highlight was excellent service by Tamara, and people watching while sat outside- as this part of town allows drinking in public while walking around. One note- outdoor seating allows smoking- we chose to move away from a chain smoking table.More
Needed a quick bite close to our hotel. Our group chose this establishment. I usually choose more conservative establishments, so this would not have been my choice. It felt like a dive bar. I was grateful for the outdoor seating with coverings and a nice...breeze that blew. Five Bucks Drinkery serves burgers and such...American fare...and drinks with creative names. While my burger was okay, not as flavorful as I'd hoped, others in my party received incorrect orders, which were quickly fixed, though our original wait was lengthy. We left Five Bucks thinking our $$ could have been better spent elsewhere.More
Busy hole in the wall bar. Its small but it has great food and also offers a full bar. Cant go wrong.
We stopped here for a bloody mary, lunch, and some football on a Saturday afternoon...and liked it all. My buffalo chicken sandwich was good, and the bloody mary excellent. Not a bad spot for a quick bite / drink.
Pretty impressed based on what I was expecting with the name. Great specials. Everything from food to drinks is very affordable. Staff was knowledgeable and good on pacing. Drinks were coming from next door bar instead of one in front of us that we could...see which was odd and took longer than should, but very good meal with the sliders.More
We stopped here after walking down Central. We sat outside since it was a sunny day and not overly hot. I think this place is affiliated with the bar next door as the waitress seemed to be doing double duty over there. She was pleasant...but clearly very busy. Our group ordered a couple Philly cheese steaks, a couple salad bowls and a couple of the sweet Thai chili chicken tacos. Everything was pretty darn good ! The prices are so reasonable here ! I got 2 of the chicken tacos for $6.99 !! They don’t come with a side but the meal filled me right up. Chipotle Mayo ! Yummmmm !! The food took quite a while to arrive and that was my only complaint. (To be honest I was probably a little light on the tip and I feel bad about that now since it was most likely not the servers fault, as the food was hot). I think our bill was $84 with tax for 5 of us, soft drinks only. So, HUGE portions, good prices and good food. Definitely recommend. (Sorry for the reddish photos, the overhead awning gave off a hue due to sun).More
Had an awesome time, great drinks, great service and great atmosphere!!!!! All drink $5 or less. Can’t beat that anywhere that I have found in Saint Pete.
Great dog friendly place! Jill is the best server ever!! She brought our puppy whipped cream! Great outdoor seating!
This place is a personal favorite and I was so happy that they survived closure during quarantine. Their staff and owner, are the friendliest and the most considerate that I've experienced in a while. They all seem so happy to be back and working there....It seems like the owner also does a great job of motivating and rewarding his staff, which is refreshing to see! The owner purchased the restaurant next door and more than doubled his patio/outdoor space. The food is delicious and extremely reasonably priced!! Their tortilla chips are made there and and not to be missed. This is a personal favorite and a place I highly recommend! They open at noon and parking is on street and metered. Plenty of outdoor/covered seating and a few tables indoors.More
While visiting St. Pete we came across this little gem on Central. We lucked up and got an outside table which was great on a sunny afternoon. The place was packed but our server got to us quickly taking drink orders. While enjoying our libations...we ordered appetizers and our main dishes. The chips and dip were very good (especially the chips) served nice and hot, thin and crispy. We also had the Buffalo Cauliflower, which was excellent and quite spicy. We ordered a mix of sandwiches and no one had a single complaint. Everything came out nice and hot and was very tasty. You really get your money's worth. Several craft beers as well as your standard beers are available as well as mixed drinks. Will definitely be returning.More
We went back for a late lunch. Service was good as always. We spilt the patty melt, very good and had house Chardonnay. Three glasses of wine and good sandwich for under $20.00. Only disappointed was not the place. If you wanted to sit outside,...all the places allow smoking, which means if you do not, you would not enjoy the enjoyment of of outdoor sitting. Have funMore
This drinking establishment has surprisingly good food. The black and blue salad was huge!! It was made in a mixing bowl and was plenty large enough to share with 4 people for a side salad size. The drinks were great too and everything was reasonably...priced. Downtown St. Pete has a busy, fun vibe with only a few crazy locals wandering around. Parking can be tricky and be prepared to pay for it.More
We ate here before our cruise and after, great price large portions of food. Great staff the second time we ate our waiter was amazing he was the only waiter working the place that day. He never missed a beat. Burgers good, chicken tender basket...great, beef nachos awesome. Super large drink.More
