Incredible Shepherd’s Pie, and though it sounds weird, ask for extra pickled onions with it. Trust me! If Olivia is behind the bar, you’re in for a treat, she’s super nice and friendly. Don’t miss it.

Enjoying a nice sunny Saturday exploring art festivals, we stopped in the Grand Central area. This British europub restaurant interested us with the huge inviting outdoor seating area. We popped in and looked at the menu but thought we weren't hungry so we didn't stay....About 15 minutes later, we went back and so glad that we did. Gib greeted us immediately. He was friendly and professional. He offered to bring a bowl of water out for our dog (yes, it's dog friendly). That won us over for sure. Brunch is available until 3 but we decided on the Fish & Chips lunch which is haddock served with house cut fries, minted peas and a malt vinegar reduction. Delicious. The fish was perfectly breaded, moist flakey. We loved the fresh fries which were twice cooked and the minted peas (generous portion so we were glad we had opted to share). There is a wide wine and beer selection and it's reasonably priced. They are members of Club Savor too! We were thanked for our business and invited to come back soon. Although we were on foot, I noticed there is free on-site parking. We're making plans to go for dinner soon.More

Did lunch here and everybody in the party was hungry so shouldn't have been too difficult to satisfy our party. Unfortunately the food was just not very good. Nobody in our party finished their plate which said it all. The one good thing to say...about The Queens Head is the large outside seating areaMore

We ordered from here on UberEats and what a disappointment. We had an order of the fish and chips and a shepherds pie. The shepherds pie didn't look anything like a pie. Now granted, it was a to-go order so I assume it probably comes...out in a bowl in the restaurant, but it was just mashed potatoes with meat on top and a couple of pickled onions. There was no crust or anything that had a pie element to it that would've added some crunch. The fish and chips was huge. It would take 3 people to finish this one meal. There's no need for a piece of fish that big. The sauce that they offer with it was nothing like a tartar sauce. It was a vinegar-like syrup and it was so strong, you couldn't taste anything else. Overall, the fish was extremely greasy too. You couldn't taste really any flavor unless you poured the sauce on and that was too strong for me. I don't know if it was bad because we ordered it delivery but we've never had an experience like that before. Usually our food is delicious and this was our first bad one.More

I chose this place because I could get a vegetarian Shepherd's pie. They had other veg and GF options. There are UK-inspired menu items and others that aren't so much. The decor is also not overtly British, it's more subtle. But still very cool. The...bathroom was wallpapered with British tabloids which I loved. I enjoyed my food but wouldn't rush back for it. I ate at the bar but there is an outside patio area, too.More

We had a variety of appetizers and dessert there last night and everything was delicious. We had the cauliflower croquettes - delicious, baked brie - delicious, mussels - outstanding. I can not say enough about the fresh homemade sauce the mussels are cooked in. The...music outside on the porch was wonderful. Oh and for dessert we had the pudding with caramel sauce. Now that was the cat's meow. We will surely be going again.More

We last went to the Queenshead a year ago. I can say it has been way too long. I'm so looking forward to having brunch there with my husband and friends this Sunday. The food is delicious and the staff more than Fabulous.

We had a good meal here at the bar. The staff were attentive. It is an average place. I'd go back. Good enough.
