We stopped in a Sat evening for a fish & ship. I liked. They use Haddock that is a great fish. The fries were very good. But the biggest surprise was the Putin.. Fries and short rib ragout.. Beer as good. Excellent service and ambient. We will return!

My husband and I are recent transplants from New England. We have been searching for good fish and chips for months! This place is great. I had the poutine with short rib ragout. It was delicious. My husband loved his fish and chips. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. It's so cool. We will definitely return.

We went for my husbands birthday. Service was great. Wine selection for nice. Prices were great. Food was wonderful! I'm not a huge fan of British food..but they have so many other choices! We had the poutine with cheese curds and short rib ragout..so yummy..the chicken curry..and the buttermilk tempura shrimp with sweet chili sauce on arugula! Will definitely go... More

First, I always have positive interactions with the owner and staff at this restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating. The newest menu is quite delightful. They have arancini (risotto balls), cauliflower croquettes, and the most delicious steak sliders with raspberry sauce. Total yum. The atmosphere in the restaurant/bar is very cool, and there's plenty of outdoor seating. They also serve many... More

Tried it because we liked the look of the place, and we found delightful food and a helpful waiter who was attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Really cute bar/restaurant with fun art/decoration . Ate here a couple of weeks ago and got the steak/mush pie and my bf got the lamb burger. The fries/chips were really really good and easily the best part of the meal. I'm not sure I would ever have a craving to come back, but I would recommend it if you're in... More

The Queenshead is on Central Ave which is a fun laid back part of St Pete with a lot of fun stores, pubs, and restaurants. This is I true foodie place with daily specials but none of the fuss. I started with the house made pate which was amazing, and had the fish and chips (it is a pseudo British... More

We wanted brunch with some mimosas, and I am a big fan of British food. Hard to find bubble and squeak so I was excited that they had it. It was awful - solid potato patty very dense with no flavor. It was just to dry, even with the egg on top. I have had much much better. Shared the... More

I've always heard that Brits are well known for their food, but the Queenshead is changing my mind about that! I'm not a fish eating kinda guy... yeah, I know, Florida resident and all, but these Brits have turned my dislike of fish into a "hey, this isn't too bad" kind of attitude. You've got to try the Fish and... More

Unlike the parent British version this is elegantly served on plate rather than in newspaper! It is also not over fried as in so many restaurants. The steak and kidney pie is also good. The restaurant was recently sold and the new owner has kept most of the popular items on he menu. The service is friendly and unassuming and... More
