We went there for the atmosphere and they actually had a burger on the menu. I was afraid they would just go through the motions to placate carnivores such as myself. In fact, it was very good. Very pleased. And my wife enjoyed her salad....It can be accessed without paying museum admission, so we will probably be going back there on our next trip to St Pete.More

We are members of the MFA so we love this cafe. As a member of the museum we get a discount, but we would go either way. You an sit in or out and it's quiet so for a busy weekend it's perfection. We like...to go Sundays after church. They have great salads and sandwiches.More

This is a quiet spot in busy downtown St. Petersburg, overlooking the water. Option for indoor/outdoor dining.

We had just finished walking all the collections and wanted to relax before moving on to our next activity. Very grateful for a glass of wine with lunch and a tasty sandwich and excellent salad.

I'm not sure why no one has written a review about the baby shower we had last year so I guess I will! Can I say one word.... fabulous! Lisa, the Cafe curator, went above and beyond to make our event wonderful. She helped to...make everything look flawless because we can be a little over the top. The food was perfect for a brunch; everyone is still talking about how delicious it was. Thank you for making the experience memorable and fabulous!More

Always delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. We ordered the daily soup and sandwich and the fall salad. Both were the appropriate size for lunch so we did not have to carry leftovers around the museum.

MGS Cafe is located on the water side of the museum. It is a perfect place to eat if you are visiting the museum. The menu isn't extensive but will suit just about any taste. The food is well done and reasonably priced.

Everyone drives, walks, jogs past the MFA but few actually know it is there. They also happen to have one of the nicer lunch venues downtown at very reasonable prices. There is indoor seating in the atrium but my favorite is outside. There are 6 tables under...large umbrellas. This is one of the few outdoor spots with a real view of the water. Service is good and there is wine. Sandwiches and salads are tasty with good portions, there are daily specials, and the chips are home made. My guess is that prices are 60% of what is charged across the street in restraunt row. The best for me is that it is never crowded. There is also a bargain Sunday brunch. Last but not least it is a great museum.More
