Okay when you charge me for things on my pie and then don't put them on it , that bothers me . I should have checked before we left but assumed it would be right. black olives weren't there. and I also kindly asked for...parmesan and crushed red pepper flakes, and didn't get any of those either. I will say it's a pretty good pie. just want to get what I paid for. I do recommend the pizza.More
After having so much seafood, it was time for so great Italian. This is the place to get that. They are so friendly and right on it. Curbside pick up was perfect. They came right out and the food was hot and fantastic! Veal Parmigiana...was plentiful.More
We ordered take out. Got a large pizza, fried ravioli and large salad. Everything was delicious. A great value too! A sign at the door asks you to wait outside. The server then comes outside to give you your food and bill. It was very...safe.More
While I am sure Gennaro's has geat food beyond Pizza my husband and I have only had their pizza and house salad- ( House Dressing is simple yet the most wonderful classic taste ) This time was take out due to Virus restraints-
My wife and I had dinner here on a Thursday evening in March. We ordered a medium pie with pineapple and ham and a calzone to split. We also got an order of fried ravioli as an app. The fried ravioli was so so but...the calzone and pie were very tasty. The portions are large we had plenty to take home. The place is quaint, the staff are friendly. A great find and we would strongly recommend this eatery.More
I visited this restaurant with my 7 year old daughter and parents (age 70s) while on vacation. We arrived to the restaurant early and had our choice of seating. The ambience is simple and casual. We ordered pizza for my daughter right away but it...came quickly and was delicious. When ordering the adult meals, we were told the restaurant was out of meatballs, eggplant and ice tea which we thought was unusual. The server was unapologetic about these deficiencies. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and a white pizza. The garlic oil pasta and the shrimp Alfredo were excellent. The white pizza was bland and when we expressed our opinion while asked we were told “the ingredients are exactly as listed on the menu”. We were told garlic was extra and should have be ordered ahead of time and there was no basil as a topping option. The server was not accommodating or helpful. In fact, she was dismissive. She didn’t seem to care that one of our choices was disappointing or want to help to fix it. Overall the food was decent, but as a small business owner myself, I always hold restaurants to high service standards and this place falls short.More
We need pizza every couple of weeks and we have travelled down Pass-a-Grille Way and have seen the restaurant many times. Friends have given the restaurant high marks. We went in at around 7:30 p.m. and were greeted right away. Nearly all the booths were...full and customers were waiting for their carry out orders. We placed our drink orders and made our pizza selection. We chose the standard pizza crust and our favorite toppings. The pizza came in an average amount of time. We ordered a large—thinking we would take home the rest. The large lived up to its description. We could only eat one-half. The crust was very tasty, light and well above average. The sauce was just right. The cheese was of very good quality and was generous. The service was very good and all-in-all a very good dinner. The pizza also reheated well.More
Since I am of Italian descent and from the New York area, I always am a bit wary eating at Italian restaurants while traveling. Gennaro's was a pleasant surprise. It is a smallish place towards towards the end of Pass a Grille (we walked there...from our beachfront accommodations) that offers a typical Italian menu. The service was friendly and efficient. I got linguini with red clam sauce -- very good and quite a large portion -- and my wife got eggplant manicotti. We sat in the window front in a pleasant front room. All in all, a very satisfactory experience.More
