I very much enjoyed my meal here, the food was quite good and felt the price was reasonable. The salmon was excellent but the shrimp were over cooked and tasteless. The one thing I didn't like was having small pieces of food flung at my mouth by the table chef after I said no.

We initially played phone tag and while I made a reservation by leaving a message there was no guarantee so we went anyways. We had some trouble finding the restaurant as it is tucked away but the hostess did seat us even though they had a reservation coming in. The service was very fast which was find because our children are young. The food was excellent. The children enjoyed watching the food be cooked. Great entertainment!

Second time trying Blue Fugu. I give everyone a second chance. Ordered the spring rolls and sushi appetizers and they were great. My 2 of my daughters and I had the steak hibachi and my other daughter had the chicken hibachi. The chef was extremely personable and cooked everything to perfection. Service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We had sushi at the socially distanced sushi bar. We had the spicy tuna roll and a dynamite roll the were superbly presented to us by sushi chef GOZ. We also had a small cucumber and carrot spicy starter before the sushi. Very fresh and good price. Certainly worth stopping in for while at St Pete Beach if you want good sushi.

Visitors all the way from California, we decided to try this restaurant since it is across the street and the food was good but the energy in there is awful. You can see it in the Poor staffs face that the lady i assume the manager is a tough person to deal with, she was bullying a server as my wife was coming back from the restroom and we immediately felt uncomfortable. Good food bad atmosphere

We went on a Tuesday as a family of 4 and there was barely anyone there. We started to get concerned. We had a table to ourselves and a we were blown away. We go to Japanese Steakhouses often and this is among the best. Our chef was funny and entertaining and the food was delicious!

Sushi is as delicious as it looks. Comfortable seating. Friendly service. Easy parking in an area where that isn't always the case. High quality fish and the prettiest and most diverse chirashi I've found anywhere. Visited several times while in the area and always pleased. A little pricey, but in this case, felt the food was well worth the price. Server was very kind and accommodating to our five-year-old. Also has hibachi tables although we always went for sushi. Good beer and saki menu.

Called and ordered a variety of sushi and hibachi. The lady on the phone was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The Shrimp Hibachi and Salmon Nigiri was excellent. The Sushi platter I had was complete with a wonderful variety of Nigiri and Tuna Roll. Everything was fresh.

Arrived early for dinner. Was asked if we had a reservation and responded no(didn't know that it was necessary). Was told 2 hours wait for hibachi but we could sit and order at a table. I said okay. Was then told "Only table available was right in the entrance. We were hungry so we agreed. We sat ourselves but not enough chairs. Hostess didn't offer a chair.My wife snagged an extra one close by. No one came to ask for drinks and after a while we just got up and left. The restaurant was empty?? We love Japanese food and hibachi and sushi. They lost a BIG sale. So disappointed. Will not be back. After we left, my 11 year old remarked that "This place is shady looking." To which I agreed.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, service and superb sushi presentations at this sushi bar. My kids ordered a variety of rolls and I enjoyed one of the most delicious and beautifully presented chirashi plates in my many sushi experiences.

This restaurant is frequented by locals. Rolly is always entertaining! Sushi and Hibachi are top notch. We always have left overs from the hibachi

One of the few places offering a Christmas dinner. Very affordable, good sushi, nice hibachi show. Very easy to get to. Good food with a nice variety to offer.

This was recommended by one of the staff at the Don CeSar and she said it was excellent. I guarantee without a recommendation we'd have walked on by.
The outside looks sketchy, but when you get inside it's totally authentic.
Food is excellent and a real nice change to get some vegetables after the reams of fast food.
The only criticism was that the chicken was a bit undercooked, otherwise everything else was great

This place is a little pricey but the food is very good. My favorite Chef is Rollo(?spelling)He's very good and very inerting. But you might watch out if you guys are wearing a shirt with a pocket...I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I won't say anymore. I think they can seat a party of 2-8. Lots of food and lots of fun!
