First off i read almost 25 reviews of this place and not a one was bad. I am from Maryland and have been wanting to go here for a couple years. Lived on seafood, grew up on crabs and worked many restaurants as well. Well the...reviews i read were either wrote by people who work here or their friends oer people just don't know seafood. If the owner here is from Md like to know where. The so called Monkey balls must be what monkeys balls taste like cause sure wasn't like crab cake. I will say they were full of meat but were bland and had no flavor what so ever..also tried the crab dip took one bite and almost spit it out. first off the crackers were bland not the right choice and the dip was like a hot bowl of mayo and cheese. was horrible waitress took it back. Had all intentions of getting stuffed shrimp or crab imperial but after the dip was very hesitant to try either one. Also the prices are way to high. All ii can say is those from Md who wrote reviews have crap for taste. If your want Md seafood either make it at home or go to Md oor have it shipped here.More

Was at the Brass Monkey last February, and wanted to share with the other couple with us on the trip, to experience the Monkey Balls on the menu. Cute name for crab meat shaped into balls. The Monkey Balls were great (plated 4 each) and...drinks were cold. We were all happy with the exception that it was raining and we could not experience outdoor dining with that killer view of the Gulf.More

The first thing you'll notice about the Brass Monkey is its homage to Baltimore sports. Upon asking, I found out that the owners are originally from the Charm City. With that comes some distant Baltimore flavors. There's ample seating indoor and outdoor to enforce social...distancing. We opted for an indoor table, though the outdoor tables did have a nice view of the water. We ordered fish sticks from the kid's menu at $6 each for 5 fish sticks and fries. My wife ordered a good sized salad with a nice blackened salmon filet on top. I ordered the crab cake reuben. The crab cake meat was clean and contained some nice pieces of lump crab. I would definitely come back here to sample the rest of the menu.More
