We hit the Flying Bridge for lunch as a storm was coming in. (as did everyone else) We had a large party (8). The food was outstanding, but more important our waitress Katie B was fabulous. This is a small restaurant and it was so crowded. She was happy, pleasant, and all around kind. Just love this place, and hope... More

Had a chicken burrito and a ShockTop. One of the better "Fast" places to eat while at Trade Winds! Wish I could have been there longer to try more on the menu.

We ate lunch here by the pool every day. We generally had wraps which were very fresh and, in our opinion, the best value available on-site.

Food was good, setting was nice but a little crowded. Nice not to have to change to have lunch and could stay right at the beach.

The food delicious. NOthing fancy but just plain good. Atmosphere was relaxed with beautiful surroundings. Our waitress Kate was amazing and made our experience there very special. She was helpful, and my granddaughter was drawn to Kate's sweet and perky personality. Thank you KATE!!

Good eats, reasonable prices, right next to kids pool and as usual beautiful location. Had the black and bleu burger, Philly, fruit boat. All pretty good! Very friendly and prompt service.

We visited for a sunset dinner when our teenaged girls refused the offer to dine at the more popular Rumfish. At first glance, I was not hopeful at all but the service was impeccable. Our server KATIE B. was amazing. She took such good care of us that my 13 yr old felt betrayed when she went to another table.... More

Ate at the Flying Bridge about three to four times during my stay at the TradeWinds Resorts. I don't eat meat and tend to stick with salads and fish dishes. I had the Grouper sandwich every time I dined there and each time the fish was prepared exactly as I requested. Chef Marcus made sure of that. My friend ate... More

Description
The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.
