AJ was our waiter and did not try to rush us as we were waiting for our room to be ready for us. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs

Precious did an AWESOME job serving us food and drinks on our visits to the Flying Bridge while we stayed at Trade Winds. The grouper is a must-get for anyone who likes seafood.

I can't speak for the whole menu, but the fish tacos are excellent. The standard fish tacos contain Tilapia. Nothing wrong with Tilapia, but I highly (HIGHLY!) recommend that you pay a couple of extra bucks and upgrade to the Grouper. First of all, Grouper is my favorite eating fish, and I really like fish. Secondly, it is very nicely... More

My wife and I had an enjoyable visit to Tradwinds Island Resort at St. Pete Beach, Florida. While there we stopped at the Flying Bridge on two occasions. The food was excellent! The service was spectacular! We wanted to give a shout out to Eva at Flying Bridge. She was the best server we had from all of the different... More

Cocktails and easy food are their specialty and they do it well. Virgin Bloody Marys came with slices of crisp bacon, olives, celery, and more in a large attractive vessel. Sandwiches featured fresh fish and other offerings like burgers that were fresh and tasty. Service was quick and friendly; even when eating in the small outdoor area. This is the... More

The waiter recommended we have the fish tacos for lunch. On a past visit I selected the blackened chicken Caesar wrap (very good!), but decided this time to go out on a limb and try something new. I am so glad I did! Get the fish tacos and upgrade to the grouper. You won't be sorry.

Description
The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.
